Tuesday - early fill up session

Thanks to everyone (not just my team) for some great games whilst the server was filling up. The smaller maps are a great change of pace and really help keep me (and im sure everyone else) interested, no flag hopping like 10 people playing on 64 player maps.

I CO'd:
(16)Fushe Pass
(16)Shariq Peninsula
(64)Mashtur

Fushe was the shortest game ever, China went to middle flag, we took there main, they rushed back, we took the middle and had a china sandwich. No enemy CO made it too easy but no complaints from the enemy. (Bad grammer there but the map didn't last long enough to deserve more than a sentence!)

Shariq was very wierd. It needs bleed adding as USMC has too big a advantage, MEC held 3 flags for probably 75% of the game and lost by 15 tickets. We had to assault due to our position then got no reward for taking the enemy flags. Well played by all squads who carried out the orders amazingly well.
My plan was to spread the enemy forces out between there last two flags (north and east) then double or tripple team one flag, it worked very well and some awesome SLing kept the assaults going. USMC medics were the main reason for there win, i'm sure they had a revive percentage of 50% for every soldier down. Every soldier I saw die had a medic on him, i'd try taking the medic out and another would come! They just wouldn't give up on there fallen comraids.

Mashtur was very fun, good communication from all squads who never seemed to panic. I felt like we were in control all game, at only 1 point I felt uncomfortable when we went down to 2 flags but a split second later we captured two more. Loosing my assets didn't really cause a problem, the SL's were able to control the situation and complete there orders.

I wish I would remember names, cos some of the SLing was amazing, I remember squad 4 on Shariq staying alive while attacking the TV station, he had arty plus about 2 enemy squads + tank on him but stayed alive forcing more enemy troops to him opening the other flag for a quick rush which was executed to the letter, next time I will have pen and paper to name them.

I always look forward to CO'ing on TG, but nights like this when I get to CO from the start of every round so I can do my thing straight away is rare. Plus with all the squads working together using their initiative when needed makes my job such a joy, it doesn't happen enough.

Re: Tuesday - early fill up session

I think I was SL 1 and ABRA was SL 4 on Sharqi. Good work as CO, it sucked how we had three out of four flags but no bleed.
