Sharqi 11/17 12am

Good job to my squad on Sharqi -Gixxer, Dusterman etc. Thats the most frustrating round ive played as a SL yet. Every single flag we as a squad took (which was most of them) would fall right behind us. We were like magnets.

Every time we took a flag every other squad on the USMC was on top of us defending the same flag. So we'd move take another and theyd follow us 10 mins later and everything behind us would fall. Of course i think we're doing something smart by rushing the TV station and getting our assets back and not 10 mins later every squad is there, all our flags are gone and we're in a 300 ticket loss kill zone. Sometimes I wonder what other people are thinking.

I was in the MrFire888 squad and had a great time with a great team. The whole evening was plenty cool!!

I want to thank all of those in the 2nd BCT squad. They absolutely rocked. We rolled from the city entrance to the alleyway and then the radio station.

Re: Sharqi 11/17 12am

I wish I would have remembered to write down the SL's names. I had four 5/6 man squads which followed orders and were effective at capturing and for the most part holding the CPs I directed them to.

With only four squads to attack and defend, my plan was to capture two of the four center CPs to use as staging grounds for the TV Station. I then had two squads continuing to assault the TV station. Those two SLs were great and staying alive and ultimately we took the TV station.

Once the TV station was secure, I pulled one of those squads out to hold the alley. That alley is a very tough CP to defend and is where most of the battle raged. We were holding four CPs pretty effectively and allowed me some great arty targets.

Thanks to those SLs who hung tight on defense once we were in position.

Also thanks to my attack helo squad who would move where ever I directed them in support.

Re: Sharqi 11/17 12am

I was SL of either squad 5 or 7 (can't remember), the one you put at the construction site. It was soooo boring there . It wasn't your fault asch, but the US had the flags to our west, north, and south but we NEVER came under assult by a full squad. Maybe 1 or 2 guys at most would venture our way every 5 minutes and they were quickly disposed.

Eventually when you gave us 2 flags to defend, I got to see some action at the alleyway but the other half of my squad I left at the construction site probably fell asleep at their keyboards.

When the US retook the TV station, we were looking at it and there were at least 10 snipers on the roof of it. You hit it with arty and 2 guys went flying soooooooo high into the air .

And at the very end, somehow Delphi made it all the way through our lines and was heading for the far west flag. My whole squad intercepted him and he just got riddled with lead. Then my whole squad commenced the teabagging of his body. LOL Sorry Delphi but we were pretty bored.

Re: Sharqi 11/17 12am

It was indeed a frustrating round but our squad fought hard and well. You did an excellent job of SL, Jusb, and made the most out of the situation. I think the problem clearly rested at a higher level on that map and their attack chopper certainly did help matters much.

Asch,

I was SL for 8. We took and held (for a while) the TV station. Fun stuff.

Yes, that was thoroughly disgusting Dark. I was just about to grab that west flag when out of nowhere I get shot. While waiting for respawn, staring at the blue sky, I see your ass humping my dead body, then I guess my [dead] body was just WAYYY TOO beautiful to be humped by a single person. I assumed there was heavy competition over it since I saw that you got TKed immediately, with the TKer going on to hump MY dead body

Red face Re: Sharqi 11/17 12am

I was on squad 9 on the MEC. Good job as CO Asch! Our squad took and held the Hotel for the map. We lost it once or twice, but quickly regained the flag in those cases.

Some squadies were bored with the defense during a few down minutes. A quick look at the radar showed our beautifull position with the TV station, and the 3 eastern flags of the center, and the USMC bleading tickets. I said "they are bleeding, we don't need any more flags", and we proceeded to hem them in and defend our flags on the way to a large margin of victory.

Good fighting, good teamwork, lots of fun.

Yeah, I sort of felt bad for the squads when I had them defending, but we were in a perfect position to keep them down and let me drop those arty bombs on them. I didn't want to give up any of those flags and I only had four infantry squads.

Didnt matter. The other squads werent doing much of anything for USMC and the commander had no mic and gave no orders. It was one of those kind of map. "team stackers".
