1ST CO experience in TG

Well I must say it wasn't pretty but I would like to thank all the squads and their respective squadies for putting up a valiant fight dispite a lack luster CO. It was Oil Fields and we had a good start but no CO....I went back and forth in deciding if I should do it....Well some evil force over took my conscience and low and behold I was in the chair....It was a very close game but the massive push the USMC put on with about a 100 tickets left in the game really turned the tide. We lost 44-0 I believe. I struggled with some of the communications with squads. Gotta figure that out...Again I want to say thanks to all the squads for their patience a great effort.

I think you did a very good job, all things considered. We held our own for a while on that map. Unfortunately, I got stuck as the SL for Squad 5 and Oil Fields is a map that I can BARELY play. Even though I have a 3.0GHz P4 w/ ATI X850XT and 2GB of memory, that one map grinds my machine to a halt and I'm lucky if I get 3-5FPS anywhere near those big oil tanks. I was an ineffective SL as a result.

I think you did well though! Keep it up!

i think you did great, my apologies if i wasnt always quickly responsive as its hard to hear with the squad chat aswell as the artillery going off in your ear.

didn't make that round, Drizzid, but i've played with you and you adhere to the spirit and conduct of TG so it's hard for you to go wrong as commander in my book. we need more regulars such as yourself to step up and CO more often, so keep at it, soldier!! just don't let my squad be fighting for the surveillance outpost on Sharqi and i look over and see you manning the TOW with the commander star above your head...

Hey Drizzid. I think I was the CO for USMC against you, and if I remember, you would have won if we hadnt taken the old city. You were constantly getting armour from there, and would have easily won. After taking that it was easier for us, but you still put up a hell of a fight down in the oil cisterns. I also noticed a SM attacking your UCB and he even took a jet once. Sorry about that. Was one of my first times commanding too, and you were a blast to play againt. Commander mode is like a next gen RTS game.
