CTD after patch

BF2 crashes to desktop before the intro movies. This only started happening after I installed the new patch. I tried reinstalling the patch but I still have the same problem.

Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it??

Could it be anything to do with Daemon Tools? I can't use the CD because it broke somehow.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your CD broke somehow? If you're trying the CD in a DVD drive, it may not work; I had the same problem. Stick it in your CD burner or something.
