Masthuur 12/06
I was going to fly the Blackhawk but by the time I got into the round (My computer takes 3-5 minutes to load a map... ) the South Gas Station was already captured by the MEC. Quick acting by whos ever squad that was.
Anyways, I joined some squad (Don't think the SL knew he was the SL... ) and he wasn't giving us orders so I spawned at Mosque and began my sniping reign. From my secret spot (Which I shall never tell!) I began picking off MEC's by the Hotel. I personally loved when I would snipe the Stationary MG gunner, then someone else would run up and man it - almost like it was a privilege to be killed by me! Haha. I racked up a good 16 kills that round before I tried to switch spots and got shot. I respawned at the Mosque and saw that there were 4 MEC's on the flag! I knifed 3 that were laying down by the flag. And the 4th was sitting in the drivers seat of a Humvee. Hahaha, I pistolled him out. That was quite a moment. Somehow the MEC weasled their way in behind us and took the Backyard. So I set up post in one of my other favorite locations and began picking them off. It seemed like they wouldn't stop spawning! I remember quite well how many times I shot "Lucky Shot". Lol. Xiel tried to counter snipe me, but I shot him 1 and switched to my pistol and dropped him as he ran off. Probably a ~250 meter shot! No one could find me, and I just kept killing them. My score was about at 40 kills, 1 death. Then FINALLY I accidently pressed the space bar and my "Character" stood up, exposing my fragile body to the fierce fire of a Vodniks gun. I am probably boring you so I will stop. But I got around 75 kills that game, and only had 3 deaths. What a game, what a game!

I believe you'll find much better responses to your post if your post wasn't boasting so much about individual score or talent. We here at TG strive for teamwork. We should be commenting on the great games played, cohesive team work by your squad, and hard work by the opposing team.
We play here at TG to avoid the pub play and boasting.

Anyway I enjoyed that round even though the USMC lost by a decent margin. I had two guys in my sniper squad that I had never played with before. Zaekyr was one of them and unfortunately I can't remember the other guys name(it was really long...perhaps it was running_target_01 but I think it was someone else not listed on that screenshot). Both were great team players. Very vocal on the voice chat so we had great situational awareness of everything going on. I would have to say my favorite part of the game was late when the US took back the blackhawk spawn and I sent my squad down toward the Hill to help protect the arty and get it back functional. Zaekyr and I would setup watch on the hills for any incoming troops(mainly a few persistant spec ops) while 'guy with long name' tried his best to repair the arty. We got it up fully maybe twice with some top notch snipe protection but eventually got overrun since we lost the blackhawk flag again and just became severly outnumbered. |

FBMantis,
I must say that when I finally found your sneaky position, and got a kill on you with the L85A1, finally to get revenge the countless times you downed me, well, I don't think I've enjoyed a kill like that for a very very long time ![]() Quote:

Re: Masthuur 12/06
Very effective work by our squad on Mashtuur. Every flag we went after we took. Xeil did a great job round after round as SL and at one point the squad was defending against 2 squads inbound to the backyard successfully against wave after wave. That happened until finally we could take the Mosque away from them.

I was a SL in Mashtuur yesterday and I think you were in my squad. I enjoyed playing with you before. Maybe I was not talkative enough - I think it was 10pm, I was made SL by the musical chairs method and didn't want to be 'it' but didn't make a big deal of it. Besides my daughter sleeps in the next room and I have to be quiet that late. I did give commands, set markers and called out problems when I saw them.
There were a couple of other people in the squad that went with me and captured points. And there were two in the squad that used the squad intercom while running the tank in and out of the mosque, and being generally somewhere else. I am not good with names... Next time you want to have a good time by yourself make up your own squad. Or better, provide some feedback for your SL. Ask "what are we doing next?" or "I have a tank - when do you want me to attack". we really need that automatically generated AA thread that contains squad names, squad members and scores --> http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...my-report.html

Re: Masthuur 12/06
Asch, I wasn't trying to boast about my score. I just was trying to say that I had fun in general.
Marstien, I joined your squad way late in the game (With around 15 minutes left) because my squad was just too boring. And I was spawning on you and giving you guys sniper cover. Sorry you didn't realize it, will try harder next time. FBMantis, your right. My score wasn't as high as I thought it was. But still, I managed to do quite well . Wow, I just checked it again and I didn't realize I had such a bad k/d ratio. Didn't think I would attract so many negitive comments. . .

Re: Masthuur 12/06
Apologies if my comments seemed negative, i'm just amazed you can see 250m on mashtuur, let alone gun Xeil of all people down with a pistol.
2m in front, facing away from you, whilst holding a pancor jackhammer is about the only reliable method I know of ![]()
