Dec 7th -9:30-11:30-Props to MEC Alpha Squad
I Played the two maps referenced above this evening. Came in just after the first map started and joined alpha squad. There were just two of us and the SL promptly left promoting me up to SL.
I don't SL alot but have been looking to do it more so I was up for the challenge. Soon more people joined the squad but we did not have a commander until about 3 minutes left in the round. We defended and the River Fortification, attacked and took the village, attacked and took construction site, attacked and took Rock formation and attacked and took Olive Hill. We then attacked and took River fort again. Olive hill fell and we head back there and retook it. We then defended olive hill for a good 1/2 hour against repeated infantry and single tank pushes from the east and the west. We also had the cobra relentlessly attacking us for the duration of our stay at olive hill. At one point I think we were up by 80-100 tickets but the diligince of the USMC brought it back to a 20-30 point lead at the end. The whole squad worked really well. AT's and medics especially were crucial at keeping our flanks from collapsing on either side. Our Medic must've revived me at least 10 times at olive hill alone. I was also very pleased at the way we took River Fort-Under heavy resistance half the team went direct and half flanked around by the beach. We met at the flag and enveloped the enemy like we knew just what we were doing. Next map was Sharqui Peninsula. We did get a commander about 1/3 of the way through. We attacked and took the hotel, attacked and took surveillance post, attached and took City Entrance and then attacked and took Alleyway. Eventaully we lost Surveillance Post and went back and forth on City entrance for a while. We spent the latter half of the game defending the alleyway and eventually lost by more than 100 tickets to a swarming USMC team Props to the squad as we got best squad on this map (and the next ) Woozie really racked up the kills and support, putting us, I think, over the top in that regard. Woozie SA Elias 14 Hank Chinowski PHJ223 Broken Nothing Good games tonight - special thanks to patience of the the squad members I kind of fumble around sometimes and I'm not the fastest decision maker around. I don't have a whole lot of practice SL'ing and you guys were all just patient and steadfast... hmmm I did find myself repeating Deveren like admonitions to keep up a couple of times...you would've been proud Dev. Go Squad Go

Re: Dec 7th -9:30-11:30-Props to MEC Alpha Squad
Mad props to my USMC "I Smell" squad on Sharqi. We got best US squad with over 800 squad points (omg how is that even possible).
After we retook the TV station, my squad basically just stayed on the western side of the map causing mayhem. Eggplant Bodark Robocop ---- ---- I forgot who else was in my squad, sorry. How can you take screenshots during the map debriefing? I press the ss button, but they are not in my folder.

Print Screen. Then look in My Documents/Battlefield 2/screenshots for the pix.
Good games to everyone tonight. Had a great time even on 16 player Kubra and Mashtuur, with over 32 people in each game. Those little changes of pace make gameplay a lot better lately. ![]()

Re: Dec 7th -9:30-11:30-Props to MEC Alpha Squad
I must say, I joined Squad 3, the LearnTG squad, and it was incredibly fun. I stayed for 2 rounds because it was late, 1 on Oman, and the other on Sharqi.
I had an absolutely amazing time playing, and I am definitely coming back for more ![]() |

Just do like I do and make sure to take screenshots of your score just before the round is over.
