MEC wins, no USMC wins.. no no..

Even more rare than playing Clean Sweep is a draw after a full hour on Clean Sweep! Unfortunately, I spent most of the round in the USMC bomber running from Dark Viper, so I don't know how the ground battle went. I was pretty surprised when the round ended because I wasn't paying attention to the time, just the ticket count. Was quite shocked when the map suddenly ended...

Yeah I don't think we played an hour of it...timer must have been shorter cause I was surprised when it ended too.

You do know DV left halfway through the round, right?

Then I spent half the round running from him.. and if he was there for 51%, then it was indeed most of the round

I'm suprised how close it was considering Sassy took over commanding for MEC and the random we had commanding USMC couldn't understand the concept of a 3 man sniper squad that can't assault a heavily defended base on its own (or the need to spread out instead of everyone spawning at the same flag).

Was a fun game though between the lag, I don't think i've ever seen as many snipers. At one point I saw at least 5 between the bridge and where the MEC helicopter spawns with a medic running around behind them reviving them when we killed them (arty cleaned them all out! muhahaha)

oh yeah. The teams were stacked

well someone had to say it!

My squad spent most of the round protecting the MEC airfield. Sadly, the enemy never really attacked it.

teamspeak overlay, lets you see whos talking in teamspeak. Sadly, i never got that to work

Read the README to make sure you get the options right so Punkbuster doesn't kick you. It really is a great program.. I couldn't stand using TS before I had it, now I use it all the time.

Santa it only works in BF2 if you click "use alternate direct x mode" in the options of TSO

That was a very fun round! I'm not surprised it was that close because I spent the first 15 mins ground-pounding with B's squad and when I finally jumped in to CO (I just couldn't take seeing that empty chair anymore!) we were down by about 80 tickets. Trying to make that up without bleed is pretty tough, but we did a great job! It was a fun round, on a map that can be not-so-fun.
