Monday night Clean Sweep

I joined up on this map last night and moved over to the MEC side for a change. I saw that Beatnik had a squad and joined up with him. I haven't played too much here yet but had played on his squad once before and learned a lot. Well we started defending the MEC Airfield and I took the medic kit as I usually do. After repeling several attacks Beatkik said he had to move over as CO since we didn't have one.

After some squad member moving around I became the squad leader !! Well never having done this I was thinking of bailing but I stayed SL. We defended the Airfield for awhile with another squad but had to keep sending guys to repair teh Arty and teh UAV and etc. After awhile we received orders to move to teh Communications Central and defend there, This is where we stayed the rest of the game.

I really want to apologize for not remembering everyone's name that was on my squad Zekkpoo , Notoneofus etc. I was too busy trying to pay attention to the CO orders and an overall eye on the area.

I tried to keep communication going as best as I could. Big Thanks out the my Squad 1 they really didn't need too much direction ( Lucky for me !! ) They all did a great job defending as asked.

Thanks to all on my squad, and thanks for putting up with my first time SLing !

For some reason US just could not pull of anything... We even tried to do blackhawk insertions and got a lot of flag but US could not keep them... Boy felt lonely out there...

Lonely my ass. I was there w/ my bang up squad. We were working our asses off always keeping one flag up to deal with the whack-a-mole.

Indeed. Great job as SL, Jusb, and great job to everyone else in the squad as well. We saw a ton of action during the second half of that round.

Re: Monday night Clean Sweep

Sorry for bailing on the squad like that. I prefer not to leave my squad, but we were getting it from all sides at the MEC airfield and needed some intel badly to try to hold that capturable main base.

You did great as SL. They brought it pretty hard to our assets, and having you guys there was a big help. Hopefully I didn't talk your ear off, but I wasn't sure who took over as SL and knew there were some new faces in the squad, so I erred on the side of 'Learn to SL'.

To those who were on the receiving end of my arty parties, I'd apologize but I forgot just how fun that can be when you're not the one getting bombed to oblivion.

Speaking of arties, DUKE, you will pay for the ones you sent on us... oh my friend, you will pay dearly... I am so glad we (squad 6) left the airbase and could breathe a little bit (I wasnt the SL, Warhammer was, so I dont know if this was a direct CO order)

And Strag, you took your AT sniping revenge (I remember taking you and I guess Penguin on Mashtuur with an AT shot a couple of days ago) I have no idea how you killed me with an AT shot while both of us were moving at that distance, it was a really nice one...

LOL, I enjoyed constantly dumping arty shells on the red glob at the airfield. And then when I found out it was your squad I made it my number one priority.

Yes! You guys had your way with us MANY times at that Hotel flag on Mashtuur. You guys had an excellent defense set up there. And not only did you have that amazing AT shot (and others), but Duke, Fault, and Manner had some great shots as well. At more than one point was I yelling at the screen!

Last night on Clean Sweep was good fun plinking at you. If we're on opposing teams, whenever I see your name pop up in my HUD, I know I'm in for a great battle.

No problem with you bailing to move up to CO, that had to be done. Thanks for the props, and no, you didn't talk my ear off but I couldn't remember what button to press to talk to the CO to anwer your questions or ask my own !!
