Exclamation Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

I am looking for any suggestions and anyone interested in being a part of the TG-Irregulars Platoon. The process is on its way and can use any and all help to include suggestions. I have a couple of volunteers so far, thank you Trooper[SNPR], ABRA, JimmyTwoHand, Wulfyn, Apophis, WhiskeySix, and if I missed a name, I am sorry but thanks for the help.

If interested in being in the Platoon...let me know in this thread.

If you have any suggestions, could you PM, and leave suggestions on thread so as to provide brainstorming material for others that are viewing it.

Nothing is 100% as of yet, just testing the waters for now.....ultimately, the ADMINS have the authority to give the go ahead. If i have overstepped any boundaries or stepped on anyones toes, then let me know and I would happily apologize, and I just have to say SORRY in advance to cover my A@%.

I posted earlier but, i'll do it again here. I'm interested in joining the TG-IRR, the only problem is that i live in holland which is 6 hours ahaed of the EST. But i'll do whatever i can to make it on matchnights, setting alarm clocks, etc

Great idea Wulfyn and very nice Fuller, stepping up to the plate, much appreciated.

I'd like to be a part of this. We'll see how it'll work with my living in Israel.

Already this is looking to be quite a multinational setup. Im sure we will be able to field a squad whatever the time of match. Very exciting.

I have taken the list of people interested in the Irregulars and done a little research on the forum. I have tried to fill in specialities from what people have said on other posts (e.g sign ups for the scrim league) or their signatures. Bear in mind that this may prove to be somewhat inaccurate but i thought it may help us to see what sort of material we are working with. I was going to post this in one of the TG-Irr Threads but thought it may overwhelm it with people who are not listed posting their own specialities or corrections to the ones i have put.

The important bits are that we have:
1) about 5 potential squad leaders although experience varies.
2) 4 pilot/gunners
3) 2 possible CO's

If you want to post this so that people can tweak it go ahead, either in a new thread which can be edited together or in one of the originals depending on your thoughts on which is best. Otherwise i hope this helps to show we have some good raw material covering a broad spectrum. List follows:

Regards,

-two Hand-

1) Shafik - NA
2) Douwe21 - I love all kits (except engineer and support), getting pretty decent with the rest of them. I do have some experience as SL on TG
3) thebleakaffinity - no microphone
4) krusty-o - NA
5) seforest - NA
6) Indy fossil - Squad member, medic
7) TG JBRanger - Spec ops/AT
8) B. Clawhammer -NA
9) WR7 - I can handle a squad leader position or know my role as a medic or support is not necessarily to kill the bad guys but support the team.
10) Whiskey Six - helo pilot
11) YerMom - Helo pilot squad and CO.
12) FBMantis -NA
13) Syn - Spec ops (weakest is support),
14) Phil21 - I generally like to simply be a squad member, can CO if we get desperate
15) gun junkie - I can play most classes. Support/AT/Sniper (never more than 50m in front or flank of squad) are preferred. Decent with Assault, Spec ops. Medic in a pinch (or if needed). I can pilot helos and I can gun in both helos and jets. I'm also pretty good in armour/AA and a very efficient chopper gunner.
16) JimmyTwoHand - Assault squad member normally., would be willing to learn to SL or CO or learn any other role that would fill a gap in the irregulars.
17) Shirk - Air and armour
18) The Vegeet - I play assault by default, but will happily go medic, support, AT, or engineer. Fine with SM, some experience as SL, but nothing major
19) Just G - NA
20) sgtDFuller -
Thanks Jimmy, this helps alot. Like you said, if anyone wants to tweak a bit, then post your kit/specialty and also if SL/CO/Pilot.

As for myself, I am jus a plain ole squad member, not too much experience in any kit, so I am very versatile and will play anything, except for pilot----would have no idea what to do.

I will alos keep a list of above individulas and their potential positions.

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

Good to see things finally rolling along. I have been busy lately so had no TG time but am gonna get back to it as soon as i can. I am happy to fill any role in the irregulars, i am good in planes, helos and armour but equally happy as a front-line grunt, its all good, just tell me which way to point my gun and when you say jump i'll say how high.

(good work on the list Jimmy)

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

Great stuff Shirk, thanks for the reply and confirming that my research was not a total disaster. The Irregulars seems such a great idea because so many people are in the same boat of not having enough time. Good to know we will probably be able to field an air element at times as well. The game wouldnt feel the same if i wasnt snaked and naped on a regular basis.

Stay tuned for further developments.

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

I'm interested in this. I have experience SLing though I like being a grunt more. I am at my best with Assault or AT, and I can perform with support, medic, and specops. I drop my sniper rifle more times than I kill people with it, and while anyone can lay AT mines, I can't hit anything with that shotgun.

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

Thanks SgtHoman. Im sure SgtDFuller will add you onto the interested list. I dont think the irregulars are trying to shoehorn anyone into fixed positions. Its just good to know we have enough potential people willing to step up to the plate when needed. Gald to hear im not the only one who struggles with sniper and engineer!

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

I am making a list and trying to maintain all info, so just post in this thread your desired kits, and position preferred. Rmember though, this will be made up of part timers, so squads will have to be pooled to make a team for Training and for Scrims. I appreciate the enthusiasm and support, just as much as JimmyTwoHand, so keep the info coming. Mission Statement and Platonn/Squads are in the wroks. We are also trying to get a sub forum going just for the TG-Irr's, but not sure as of yet, the Admins will let us know later.

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

I play best as Support, and maybe AT.
I'm not a bad CO, either, but not SL.

What the heck, sign me up. I have a family but will try to make myself as available as I can. I can play medic, support and engineer. Can't fly don't have wings. I have SL, I don't mind doing it but I'm not the best at it but working on it. If you need anymore info let me know. Thanks

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon

For all those intersted in the Irregulars, just an FYI, during scrim time and such, there will be priority to supporting members. So if you are part of the Irregulars and a non supporting member, you may be bumped, so dont get upset if this happens, rules are rules, and there is a reason for it.
