Zatar 12/28 - 9:30 MST
Was in Zatar again last night. Echo/Squad 5 did a great job. we camped by the roadside near center island and kept the chinese from advancing their armor by using AT and C4. Then we ended up defending the factory for the final 10 minutes of the war. It was a very heated fight and we won by about 9 tickets.
I forget everyone's name. . .but great job to Echo squad and our commander. I like the unlimited tank format. It makes for some sick scenes. Tanks are proving to be far from indestructible. My Echo squad made quick work of the armor that came to take the factory. . .tanks were afraid to enter the factory b/c of C4 and mines, so they stayed on the perimeter and got wasted by AT rockets. It was a lot of fun.

Re: Zatar 12/28 - 9:30 MST
i was commander for USMC that round. we didnt have a commander and it was already halfway through the map and we started to get annihalated. They held the village pretty good we couldnt even get a foothold. So i decide eh why not.
We finally pushed em out of the village due to some very nice coordinating with two squads from two dif directions and some much needed arty. We held the village, factory, and center island for the rest of the game. They came really close but we held out. I remember at the end yelling, "everyone hide and be medic!" Great fun guys. |

Re: Zatar 12/28 - 9:30 MST
Yea Snail, that was a great job.
I've learned the importance of hiding at the end of close wars. If you have the enemy in the bleed, or if the war is just too close to call, STAY DOWN! when things are that close, like they were on Zatar that night, one grenade can win, or lose, the whole war. Stay low, spread out and ONLY go for the easy kills. Also, anyone know what the %^&%$ is up with the rotation? Is it just Zatar (tanks) and Kubra (jets) these days? I miss the old days. . . .
