Neat tricks worth mentioning...

If you are experiencing lag on your system try this:

Go to Options > Graphics > Rendering Option (this should be auto or something) Make this one DirectX7 instead of 9... I got Nvidia 6600 and After setting that I can make my Anti Aliasing 4x, and everyting on max.

Make your name colored:

Go to Multiplayer Options: and you will see your name there... Delete them all and
type in ^9|^6TG-7th^9|B The ^ and9 will not appear but rather change the color of your name... Once things settle we will have a standard name color and stuff I hope. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 are all different colors.

People please do add some more neat tricks you know.

the counter displays higher fps for me but it feels worse so i turned it off, this is strange seeing as i do actually have to gfx cards ?

Ok I've got to read that link through again after another cup of coffee. Sounds like some killer improvements. If I can get my card to 1024x768, that'll be great!

I went from 33fps to 91fps with this, very good stuff.

ALthough DX7 you miss out on some of the weather effects

8 is not actually a specific color. The color changes depending what level you are on.

^8 =
American maps = Dark Green
Russian maps = Dark red/marroon
British maps = Dark Blue

And to get the color black I think you need to type 2 carrots and the number zero... ^^0
