Saturday Afternoon Dragon

Just wanted to give a shoutout to SgtDFueller, Shirk, AKA, thebleakaffinity, and Joiner for being a great defense squad at the West Mine Entrance on Dragon. It was a pleasure to lead you guys, you made my job super easy. We held that point almost the whole game, only losing it 2 or 3 times, and getting it right back right after we lost it. Thanks for listening and for the quick rebound times. I had a blast!

Thanks a lot, we were a great squad you were a great squad leader , it was loads of fun charging back in the jeeps when we did lose it, i lost count of how many times i revived you it was an almost constant onslaught and the excellent voice communication helped a lot.

By the way it was on Fushe Pass, not Dragon.

Re: Saturday Afternoon Dragon

Then great job to Squad 3 who defended the west mines. I thought you were gone when they captured the flag to your west statrted attacking from two directions.

Great job to everyone else in that battle. The east mines were a real mess, I remember, but you handled it perfectly.

One minor issue on that map, on certain occasions armor from the north part of the map tried to assist the south and couldnt, because all the bridges were still destryoed, even after we capped the flags leading to them. Just a thought. Well played battle, that was.

Holding the West Mines is essential. The squad doing that must also be responsible for destroying or repairing the bridge just north of them, depening on the status of the Bridge Camp. Holding that bridge can help reduce the number of forces assaulting from the Bridge Camp, but it's important to leave at least one man behind to watch the flag.

After capping the security Headquarters, squads will often rush north or east to the next flags. Capping and HOLDING this flag is also very important. A squad has to defend that flag, as it is too close to the Artillery, Radar and UAV. Might be dull at the start, but after a few Artillery strikes, OpFor will send a squad there.

East Mines might be the most important flag, tactically. If OpFor has it, USMC has to defend from theentire northen region. Extremely difficult. The flag's weakspot is the open north. Squads use that open terrain to flank around and attack the flag from two directions. Be sure to defend the north but again, leave someone behind to watch the flag.

Erp, sorry! Anyway, it was great fun. Made up for the sadness that was that swamp map. What's that one called again?

Re: Saturday Afternoon Dragon

I had a blast being led by SgtHoman, and working alongside with bleak, Shafik, and Shirk and the others. That was pretty intense holding that position, the communication was great which helped alot in keeping that site. Hope to play again soon with you guys.
