Teamspeak Meeting - Minutes

These are the major issues that were covered in the meeting. If you've missed it, please read this.

1. Tags.

New accounts or not? All voices on the meeting, and most on the polls voted towards creating NEW accounts with |TG-Irr|name. This is FINAL.

Before you login, click on manage accounts, and creat a new online account. Input your details (email does NOT have to be valid) and that's it. This shouldn't pose any problems.

2. Etiquette

We will NOT lock TG-Irr squads.
We will NOT kick non TG-Irr players from TG-Irr squads.
We will try to make new members in Tg-Irr squads feel welcome.
We are Tactical Gamers first, and Irregulars second. We will try and spread this way of playing as much as possible. This is our main goal.

3. Scrim Server Time

We are trying to get time on the server for us Irr's. We are also trying to organise an Irregular ONLY scrim. We think we have enough players for this, and it should prove to be an excellent chance to get to know each other as players, to get a feel for players' individual strengths and weaknesses and how they perform. Not to mention a whole lot of fun!
(Your squad placement in the Wiki is only temporary. We will decide on natural squads when we know each toher well enough to assemble them naturally.)

4. SM's/non SM's and the Scrim Leagues

Order of priority in getting into scrims:

SM's have first priority, naturally.
non SM Irr's
non SM's

5. Contributing

We all have lives. We cant be expected to live in the TG world 24/7. But what we want to do is keep the Irr's going strong. If anyone has anything to add, suggest, comment on, feel free to do so. Post it on our forums, PM someone. Get on the air. As to the question: Who is in charge? The answer is everyone. We all need to be leaders at this point. There is no one leader for the Irr's. There will be, however, a number of "Officers", naturally. We will discuss the manner of which we will choose these Officers, as we can't actually have 50 guys running the show.

6. Teamspeak Meetings.

We will try to make this a monthly or twice-a-month meeting, to discuss "burning" issues like tags... ahem.

Couldn't make it to the meeting last night as I had to work early today, but I did listen to the recording (nicely hosted smallfatcat ). Great work guys, sounds like things are taking shape nicely, lots of really good input from all those involved on the various levels (too many names to list but excellent work, you know who you are ).
I am happy to say that I agree with all the decisions/votes that were made, there were some great discussions, I especially like the etiquette points, I am all for making newcomers feel at home, as I appreciated the welcome I received when i first found TG, someone made the point that all SMs were new here at some point and the best way to create more is to welcome ever newcomer as a potential TG lifer.
I am really looking forward to the Irregulars ONLY scrim, it will be a great way of getting everyone together for our first mass (hopefully 30-50 Irregulars) meeting, even if it is only to blow each others brains out
