Since we are all apologizing I'd like to also apologize. We were playing the Jan 5th map, I can't remember the name of it but it happened to be the one with the Alleyway.
I was called to distribute some ammo to fellow temmates. I was however, since I'm new unaware that I only had two ammo packs I could hand out. I inadvertantly and accidentally tossed a grenade at the feet of two gentlemen that had asked for some ammo. When I realized this I immediately hit the sorry button a few times and yelled into my mike that I was sorry and that they needed to move immediately. Unfortunately I guess they didn't hear me or knew what had happened. I accidentally TK'd both of them. I was swiftly punished as I deserved it but I felt really bad because it was an accident. After that I was so disorientated that I couldn't really get back into the game. I truly am sorry. I did not mean to kill my own teammates at all tonight. I hope you all can find it in your gun-toting rocket launching hearts to forgive me. |

Re: Sorry team.....
I was not a member of your squad, but I do appreciate you being so forthright with your apology. I appreciate it very much even though I was not effected by your mistake. I do not appreciate other players punishing you so quickly though. I would hope that if they are TG members they will not jump to conclusions so quickly next time an accidental tk occurs, especially one in which someone apologizes and tries to warn them.

Re: Sorry team.....
Thanks guys. I just felt so bad about it cause I didn't mean to do it.
And yeah, they did get some ammo which is good. Unfortunately they weren't able to use it cause they got blown up. I'm going to remap my keys tonight, why the grenade is automatically loaded after you use up all your ammo pack, medical packs is beyond me. It would have been much better if my sidearm was auto loaded instead, it still wound't have been cool to shoot one of my guys after giving them ammo but at least they woudln't of died from it. |

Re: Sorry team.....
Well I didn't want to waste a whole thread so i'll piggy back on this one, but I do apologize to my squad on sharqi for flying our full blackhawk directly into the side of a mountain. You see, my ISP actually has setup a special box at the exchange which detects when I'm piloting a full blackhawk. Once this situation occurs, a special ping attack is unleashed onto my poor cable modem, disabling it and disconnecting me.
They do let me get a bit of downstream before the disconnect though. So while I stare at the "There is a problem with your connection" text I got to hear the blood curdling screams and "WTF?s" over VOIp. When I reconnected I was autobalanced to the other team and couldn't say I was sorry. So, there ya go.

Worst for me, when I first started playing the game, was standing on a street in Karkand in the middle of like 4 guys on my squad.. Pulled out a grenade and right clicked instead of left.. Plopped it down right in the middle of us. One guy got away ![]() |

Re: Sorry team.....
If I had a dollar for every grenade that went bad, or every teammate I shot when attempting to use the commo rose, I would no longer be in student loan debt.

Re: Sorry team.....
The grenade issue ... don't have a grenade in hand when you try to spot with the commo rose (right click). I don't know how many times I lost my legs trying to tell my squadmates that there is infy nearby.

Re: Sorry team.....
As an AT I've wasted more rockets and given away the position of my hiding squad more times than I can count while trying to use the Commo Rose with my AT launcher out.
SL: "Squad go prone. Delta do not engage the enemy. What do you see?" Me: "Roger. I see a tank. I'll mark it." Enemy armor spotted Click. BOOM! Delta_Swift is no more SL: "Damn it Delta! I said don't engage!" pwntn00b[M1A2]SL pwntn00b[M1A2]#3 pwntn00b[M1A2]#4 pwntn00b[M1A2]#5 pwntn00b[M1A2]#6 SL: "I hate you Delta." Sorry! My bad.

And then when it actualyl crashed everyone in unison was like, "WTF?" but then we all laughed cause it was kind of comedic the way it happened. And no, when I ran out of ammo packs it automatically defaulted to the 'nade for some reason, which I find retarded. If it's going to default to something it should default to something a little less than devastating like the sidearm or even better the knife. |
