Daqing, Karkand and Dragon Valley

Tough night for the USMC tonight. I think we lost every map by at least 300 tickets. Opfor had some very talented players there tonight that showed me how much I have to learn. Got schooled by Santa, Gixxer, I think Freaky all night tonight. Good job guys.

Sorry to the squad tonight, got into some situations I just didn't know how to handle. Couldn't seem to get the squad organized tonight. Think I'm gonna give up the SL'ing for a bit. Gotta get into some other SL's squad to see if I can actually learn something.

Again nice job to the whole Opfor team tonight, you guys definitely had your A+ game tonight.

Best teacher is experience. Hop into someone's squad for a round, then GET BACK IN THAT SL CHAIR. Figure out what Santa and crew did to roll your squad and put that in your toolbox. Next time you are attacking or defending, just remember what they did and put your twist on it. It's proven to work, it did against you. Don't let a loss get you down.

Hey Drizzid,

First off, good job at the DOCKS.
You weren't doing anything wrong and the number one thing that makes things work is a team that listens to the squad leader.
Unfortunately for you and your squad, you came across BEATNIK. lol

The squad was Beatnik, Santa, Icky, Me, Dirt and TAC-D.
Welistened to what Beatnik wanted us to do and we carried it out untill we were over-run by half of the USMC side ... LOL

You gave us a good run for the money......

Great Job !

Re: Daqing, Karkand and Dragon Valley

last night on sharqi gave us some pretty frantic defense at the tv station (just the kind I love!)

one thing i remember is one of the magoo guys havin a real hate on for me when i was tankin at the bottom of the tv station ramp, unfortunatly for him i had the rest o my sqaud spotting him every time he came near resulting in constant death for him

the fight to hold the docks (on dragon) was a nice range of frantic fighting then .......well, more freakin frantic fighting... you guys didnt let up!

thanks beatnik for a great couple o games!! ill try to hit your squad again soon!

I never set foot near the TV station last night, so there must be a pretender running around...

After I kill him, everyone will think I'm the real Magoo! [/Homer]

Re: Daqing, Karkand and Dragon Valley

Killing Santa at the docks was a good thing because in the 15 sec he has to sit you saved the rest of your teams lives. Santa had my number last night. LOL As Drizzed would say your squad was a well oiled machine firing on all cylinders Good game guys

Dude you guys did great attacking the Docks there. We were pretty frantic the whole time on defense, and I was shouting at my squad the whole round. You gave us a run for our money to be sure. Don't question yourself - I happened to have a very talented and experienced squad. And we were hunting for you because we knew you were SL.

So contrary to your assumption, keep doing whatever it was you were doing. That was one of the biggest challenges as an SL I've come up against in a while. Very well played.
