Heli A2A Kill(vs Jet)

I didnt think it was possible but last night I got a A2A kill while in the gunship vs a jet.

Killrog lined me up and was coming in pretty fast, I lined up square on him and let loose with the rockets at close range....boom. Seemed like I hit him once and he went down. My first jet A2A kill with unguided rockets. Very satisfying feeling let me tell you

Anyone else ever get a A2A kill vs a jet with unguided rockets?

Hehe, pretty cool. I hear that Dark Viper (in a helo) killed Jepzilla (in a jet) with a TV missile, but I'm not sure about unguided.

I've wounded a jet several times with the unguided... my usualy method is to chase the jet as they do a slow turn back toward you... they dont expect you to be so close after their turn and they dont get time to lock... be ready for flares tho...

I've taken out a couple jets with the rockets. It happens when they strafe me and they are already smoking. I just aim at them when they pass and wait for them to spin around and come at me in straight and level flight. Once they are flying straight just unload all the rockets while moving the nose up and down a little. With they slight variations a couple of the rockets are bound to hit them. It'll probably be quite a bit more difficult with the next patch when they take away half our rokets.

I took out 2 jets in daquing with TV missiles. I think hellrazor was in that jet. It happened the same way both times. We were at the south refinery CP near their airfield, and i saw the bomber coming in for resupply. I let loose and since the jet was goin slow i caught up and got it, twice.
