2 Questions

In an effort to save the kittens, I tried to look both of these up but the search terms are so common that the results were useless.

1) Does anyone know how to change your in game name? I set up my original account with some stupid name because I wanted to play right then and now when I try to create a new account I am told that an account already exists for that email address. I wonder what the logic behind that security measure is. Sounds kinda similar to putting a deadbolt on a screendoor.

2) Is putting C4 at the flag acceptable on our servers? I've seen it being done and I've never seen anybody corrected for doing it. It's not something I've ever had a problem with because all it means to me if I see C4 at the flag is that I have to go find the SpecOps person hiding somewhere close and kill him.

1. Do a search. There is a place to put it in your profile but it only accepts like 8 letters.

2. OK, done all the time.

You can just make up an email - it doesn't have to be valid.

You may place C4 on the flag just so long as you do not intend to use it against TYBALT!

im pretty sure you have to confirm the account with a link in the email before you can use it but i might be wrong

you cant change your name, just make a new email and new account, then go to my documents/bf2/profiles and select all the files in the #1 profile, copy them into profile #2 (new one) folder and youll keep all your settings

Just create a new email account from Yahoo, hotmail, gmail, dodgeit, etc...

I find its very easy to obtain 3-4 unlocks in a short ammount of time...

pick your favs

and in answer to your question... theres a way to alter your gamespy account name (which is what BF2 uses) and theres google articles about it... I tried it but it didn't like what I tried

FYI The answer to question 1 is to visit https://www.gamespyid.com/index.aspx and login. The very top field is your nickname, which can be changed.
