Re: SF League match NOW!

Sorry about the late warning. I didnt realise this was on until most of the way through a bottle of particularly nice shiraz which i am using as an excuse for my shoddy play. Sorry i couldnt do more as a SL Fuller but with so few people i found myself concentrating more on killing and leaving you to your own initiative.

We got three guys on, myself, fuller and whiskey but he unfortunately had modified content issues which couldnt be overcome and had to pull out. The game was fun but with a low attendance it turned into more of a 6 v 6. Everyone needs to keep on top of the game schedule and know when the next match is to save putting a reminder up every other day. next is tuesday 17/1, standard BF2 so attendance should be much higher.

Re: SF League match NOW!

I rather enjoyed it, but would have been much easier, tactical wise with more players, it is rather hard to take out an APC with only an assault and a medic. The medic wasnt much use, seeing there was only the two of us. It was fun though, running around with our heads cut off and mowwing down everything we saw. I think we played the insurgent part rather well.....running into the lobby, guns blazing and hoping to hit someone. I still like the pre warm up where you were running on top of the ATV while I was driving, added a little humor to the night before we got our "dew" rags handed to us. I dont think the SF maps willhave much of a turnout as the "regular" BF2 will, but then again it is only preseason. Hope to see you on Tuesday.

That was very funny, although as a means of getting troops into position it was probably slightly less effective than a carrier pigeon would be...

Carrier pigeons would have been more effective against those APC's better than our RPG's. Bird droppings on their sights would have blinded them for us.

Just wish I couldve made a video on that, it was rather amusing!!

I was just thinking earlier that it was a shame battle recorder wasnt enabled. With that few people i dont think it would have slowed the server down at all.
