REQUEST: Roster Update

Hi guys!

Sorry i've been incommunicado lately - work's been totally insane of late.

Anyway - I just wanted to request that everyone update their own "Primary/Secondary Kits" and "Primary Vehicle" field on the roster:

The purpose of the field is to help coordinate squads and pairings, so please only list your top two kits (while most of us feel comfortable with most of the kits in BF2, the point of that field is to indicate what you enjoy playing most... so putting in 4 kits doesn't help ) Also - this is in no-way binding or limiting - the SL will always ask you to play whatever kit is appropriate for the situation! It's just to get a feel for who likes doing what... (If yo have no preference, please leave the field(s) blank.)

So - PLEASE when you get a moment, click the "edit" button, find your name, and fill your kits and vehicle favorites. (Note: in the edit page, the " | " is used to designate a new column... if you have any problems editting it, just drop me a PM)

I missed the subtle change in heading so i have amended mine to fit. I have also resisted the temptation to put Renault Megane in primary vehicle. I hope you are proud.....

Good work Whiskey, I think we were just editing the wiki at the same time, every time i tried to post my edits i was told that the page in question had already been altered since i started editing

Good ideas about the simplifications, the wiki is coming along nicely, I might get round to tidying up the roster for uniformity later, make it look all pretty and stuff

...Bit of a hard choice though.

I definately see myself as a 'grunt' (infantry) but like to ferry guys round in the 'bus' (Blackhawk, etc).

So I'm going to put my favoured ground vehicle in - but wanted people to know that I like flying the bus in case it's required.

I have noticed that some people who have updated their roster entries still have more than 2 kits selected, this is not necessary, same applies for vehicles (we don't need to know at this point that you might be a good APC passenger )


(I also did a little spring cleaning on the roster, you know how i like to keep things tidy )

oh.. and I was thinking that the vehicle column be to indicate a vehicle where you've got 'above average' skills.. sorry for not being clear about that! (Basically, since the "air/specialty squad" will eventually disappear, I anticipated that column being use to denote your $|<!11z w/ a helo , jet, or tank - vehicles that are likely to have a seperate squad in-game. (haha! but hey, who knows - maybe we'll get a crack storm-troopers-in-buggies squad? )
