How do i join the irregulars?

I love battlefield - i like the TG servers & rules & wanna get involved more

I'm 31, from UK - can be on most nights from 9ish (except thurs & fridays)

Don't worry about it. I find that there's so much information available on this site that it's almost impossible to find exactly what you need.

There are several in-house squads at TG and one of them is The Irregulars, players who would like to be able to play here and commit as much time as others but can't due to Real Life getting in the way

All you need to do is ask to join and you're in. No test and no trial. YOu get to put [TG-Irr| in front of your sig, play with the Irr guys when there's a scrim and such.

In return you're just expected to play the way a TG player is expected to and follow the BF2 rules.

I'm sure there's more to it than that but for now I'm sure you can consider yourself part of the gang !

And as you're from the Uk you'll end up enforcing the idea that maybe some Irr events should be held at respectable hours for the Europeans among us

I love the whole phillosophy (sp?) of TG - but due to real life commitments (ie wife kids etc) i cant commit as much time as i'd like to gaming - so yeah TG-Irr sounds perfect.

So is it just a case of joining the normal TG servers & lookin out for TG-Irr squads?

WhiskeySix is the wonder that makes these avatars for us without even having to ask

I *think* that there used to be a thread around here somewhere for avatars, if not he should spot the fact that you applied in the sticky and get in touch with you sometime.

At the moment I, like other in Europe, join the server in the eveningat about 8pm, 5/6 hours ahead of the US crowd, so it's normally a little quite about then but at 11pm things pick up a little. You can create a suqad called Tg-Irr and you'll be sure that the other Irr members will join up. The thing to remember though is that the last Irr member to leave a squad named TG-Irr needs to close it (meaning kicking the players currently in the squad).

There will be more organised events once we get our act together but if you're interested, there's a match tonight Sat morning at 3am in fact) if interested...

If it was earlier (our time) i'd love to take part - but wife would kill me - and tbh friday nights a re usually out of question for me - only night we DONT have the kids - if u know what i mean ;-)
