Practice feedback

Despite a prime time saturday afternoon server slot the practice was again underattended. We tried to run some attack/defence drills and flanking practice but just didnt have the people to make this work.

As a fallback plan we did some very good map walkthroughs looking at key flags and their defensive possibilities. Concentrating on C4, mine and claymore placements to destroy incoming vehicles. Some very good points and tips were raised and i learned some good strategy.

It was just a shame that there were not enough people to get stuck into the core curriculum and it would be good to know why this was.

Thanks to everyone who helped organised this and who attended.

Re: Practice feedback

Heh, I had made an after action report eariler as well.

Yes, the map walkthroughs were very well informed and were full of content. Plus, it was neat to see how claymores, mines, and C4 actually worked. I especially liked laying Claymores then walking in front of them.

I was also disappointed in the turn out. And I'd also like to know why the turn-outs to such events are aalways minimal.

I'll be organizing another practice here in a few weeks and I'll have the thread up early this way everyone who wants to attend can clear their schedules to attend.

Red face Re: Practice feedback

Sorry about not attending guys, Saturday is the only day me n the wife are off work and can spend time with the kids together. If i dont do this i will get constant reminders of how much more of my time the pc gets than she does!!
If i have plenty of warning, i can maybe snatch an hour at the most on a saturday afternoon.
Once again, Sorry

Family first G. This game isn't worth taking away the only day with the family.
I also had an opportunity to take my daughter to gymnastics class which I rarely do so you need not apologize.

Re: Practice feedback

No problem. We may have gotten a little upset by the turn-out but we all know that everyone has a life of their own and that practices/scrims can't be made all the time. And, like I said, there will be other practices with enough notice so that everyone may be able to attend.

Drizz, that's good your daughter is doing well. I helped my nephew put his Derby car together last weekend, it was the first job I had after finishing my shop. It was nice seeing the look on his face as he watched his block of wood turn into a car.
