2/4/2006 Irregular practice.....

Again, we will be setting up another practice on February 4th (saturday) on the events server. I feel that the saturday (1/27) turn-out though not what I expected was much better than a mid week turn-out.

Again I'd like to see Euro players from the Irregulars participate and it will be at 11am EST since I understand it's late in Europe.

If you can participate post here, if you can not don't post. I also do not expect you to post immediately, check your schedules and make sure you will have at least an hour to spare.

Requirements:

- 1-2 hours to spare: I want times. If you can be there from 11am ro 1pm EST post it. If everyone posts a time that the can start till a time they have to leave we will average it out and take the common hours that everyone knows they are going to be able to participate. Again, this relys heavily on your time table and your schedule.
- Post here ONLY if you are going to be able to make it. I don't need the thread being cluttered up with, "I might be able to show...." Now, that doesn't mean you can't practice if you show up and we're on TS hop on and ask for the server password.
- Password will not be posted on the forum, it will be given out on TS to those who show up 15 to 20 minutes prior to the scheduled time. This will prevent public players from showing up unexpected and throwing the balance off.
- At least 12 people for a 6 vs 6 match. More would be better but I understand not everyone will be able to make it.
- Participation ffrom both European and US players.

Things that would be covered:

- Movement under cover and covering fire.
- Perimeter defence of flags. (no bunching on flags)
- Demolitions and anti-personel defence
- Vehicle deployment (includes air if we have maps with air).
- Movement in urban combat.
- Map walkthroughs.
- Round the day out with an actual match using what was covered under practice.

Again, not all of this stuff will be covered but if we can get to do some of it that'd be great.

Shafik, if you'd be so kind to join us since you are an awesome teacher that would be great.

You might want to shift that an hour or two, at 11 AM EST it will be 5 or 6 pm in Europe, which is dinner time where I come from, 1 PM est would be 7 pm for most, so I reckon that would work fine, I can play on both 5pm and 7pm, but at 5pm I'll have dinner from 17:30-17:45 till 18:15-18:30

Which direction? Earlier or later?

I can go as early as 9am EST or as late as everyone wants.

I expect a turn-out though which is why I pushed it back to 11am EST.

I meant 2 hours ahead, so 1 PM EST, we can set it to 2 PM as well if that suits Medic^Thug better, that way we can all play.

So far thats six and not everyone is confirmed. Out of the confirmed we are looking at me and Shafik.

So those of you that are not confirmed I'm going to need to whether or not you will be there. I also need more people.
