New award proposition

I have an idea for a new award you guys could create. It would be called the Darwin award/medal/ribbon, and if you don't know it by now, then you will find the criteria for this award here.: http://www.darwinawards.com/.

I've seen many such incidents in battlefield. I could for instance nominate this guy that killed himself with virtuosity. I had just lifted off from the carrier on Oman in my (t)rusty blackhawk, feeling the sun heat my skin through the windshield, with clear blue skies above. Suddenly, I heard the horrible sound of a jet approaching .... But then ...no sound, just the calming noise of my BH...what is going on? Then it hit me -better say- he hit me. Smack on the windshield lay a Mec soldier, lingering there for a second, to then get his burial at sea. BigGaayAl Killed Unnamed Soldier...

This had me rolling on the floor for 10 min. I have no idea what this guy was trying to do, but he should get a darwin ribbon!

Sad thing is I'd have to nominate myself. The other night on the tacmod I was trying to jump off the south building at the construction site to make an ordered run at the TV station. I figured with enough speed and a jump I could get out past the fence and onto the road.

I did not clear the fence, rather I landed in the wire atop it. I saw my body do something like a rolling yoga-judo move while stuck in the wire, until the deadguy gravity (you know what I mean) pulled me to the ground head first. I nearly bust my gut laughing.

If we can't get a ribbon going, at least share your most memorable, pitiful, death.

Well, if we're gonna post stories....

This didn't happen to me, but to my brother over the weekend on server #1. He was leading a squad on Dalian plant and was on defense in the maintenance building. He decided to play engi to repair the squad vehicles that were patrolling the area and declared the north end of the building his garage. The vehicles were all out, so he decided to go to the other side of the building to check the flag. It was clear and he decided to goof around, so he started jumping onto the crates around the flag. Just when he jumps onto the top crate, he turns around to face the south entrance of the building to see a giant, grey triangle rushing toward his race. Somehow, one of the jet pilots on his team found it necessary to get repairs from him or something, flew INTO the maintence building, and crashed right into him. Once we figured out what happened, we too were rolling around laughing.

When I first started playing BF2 I killed myself about 8 times every time I played Kubra Dam, because I would try to jump off and parachute and I'd hit the freaking dam halfway down ever freaking time.
