A Wasted Month!

As a lot of you will probably know, I have been waiting for my new computer to arrive (it's due tomorrow) so I can play BF2 as the specs on my current rig don't meet the requirements for the game.............................or so I thought!! Just for the hell of it I installed BF2 on this rig this afternoon just to see if it would allow me to play in some way. Imagine my surprise when it did indeed let me play, although only with the vanilla install. After I installed SF and the patches, it was hopeless, way too laggy and jerky. So I have been playing this game for the first time today, and will continue to run around the maps to familiarise myself with them till my new rig comes tomorrow.

One question, now that I have installed the game on this rig, will I have problems installing it on my new rig, as regards the activation code you have to enter when first installing the game?

I really didn't think I would be able to play it at all on this rig as the specs say it requires a 128Mb graphics card and mine is only a 64Mb RADEON 9100 IGP!

nope - you'll be fine... it's just as if you're reinstalling it on your current PC...

Re: A Wasted Month!

Your Cd-Key will only give you a problem if you go online with both computers at the same time.

Re: A Wasted Month!

Thanks for that guys, i just wondered if it would cause a problem at all. My son is having this computer but he's not into these type of games, so no chance of both rigs playing it at the same time.
