Who are they? They look like amateur Blue Angels, but with pretty contrails...

Ah...

Pretty cool!

Right on par with the USAF Thunderbirds, I think...

I don't think anyone can compare to the Blue Angels, though.

These two are somewhat amusing:

A Google Video search for Blue Angels will turn up more if you want to see more...

Re: The Red Arrows

of course I'm starting to show patriotism to anything from the UK, however i don't see anything in those blue angel videos that the red arrows cant do, and the red arrows have "old" non-supper fighters

person opinion indeed...

... they are all great, and all deserve a massive pat on the back though

Re: The Red Arrows

Y'know, these videos leave me wishing I could see something more intense, like simulated jet dogfighting.

Re: The Red Arrows

Browsing to the Wikipedia page for the Canadian Forces Snow Birds team is a little disheartening. It seems to be the only team page to feature a long list of accidents.

Damn fine videos. In my eyes, the reason why the Blue Angels stand out is their historical significance. That, and the F9F-2 Panther was the worlds first large-production jet fighter. Since then, the blue angels have represented the 'cutting edge' of fighter technology, all the way up to the current McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. Hope I got this stuff right :P.
