I check my ASE usually in the evening 5:00pm and 6:00pm PST and it's usually empty...

yeah im PST too and I look and look and theres no one to be found EST or PST. But people keep telling me there are. I dont get it...

Almost every time I get on the server, it's empty. This is typically around 9pm EST, once or twice a week. Within ten minutes, I've got at least three people on each side, and it usually grows from there. I think the key is seeding the server.

Yessir. Ocassionally I'll jump on during the daytime and a few others will join me. All you have to do is wait around for a while to get the ball rolling.
