Tactical Mod: Special Forces Video Preview
Battlefield 2: Tactical Mod Special Forces Exploring Strike at Karkand
While helping Duke beta test some of the features for Tactical Mod .9, I took some videos of some new things and places you can go. The following is a link to places and things that only seemed imaginary on Strike at Karkand a few weeks ago, but they now are a reality because of this mod. That's super great!! I've always wanted to throw a grappling hook up where that laundry is hanging on Mashtuur...and now I can climb up there and see what kind of fashion sense those people have!!

That's fantastic. First off, great music soundtrack. Then, what excellent fun! I can't wait to ride a zip-line across the battlefied and then pop enormous quantities of hallucinogenic gas everywhere. This is a fast-attack dream come true.

Pretty cool. Looks like the zip line distance has been increased. I always thought it was too short in SF. Can't wait to try it out.

Great movie, +rep for Drunk and Duke. Possibilities are insane with these new toys. Damn, defense will be a harder job

I once was able to hit the flag pole with the zipline on one of the SF maps, imagine doing that now from a high place where none of the enemy sqauds are watching, landing on the flag and knifing the defending players in the back without a clue how you got there.
Great ending, and I love how the ziplines are so long to aim them you need to look at the map to make sure you are in the general direction. Imagine some of the SF maps with these new features. Now all we need is to make the grappling hook be launched from a gunlike device (like from the movies) with a huge length of rope to get to some of those hard to reach places.
