I wish we could run some of the maps more often, too.. but there are so many people that don't pay attention to the forums and then get dropped when a custom map comes up

Re: Map packs

im glad someone else thinks that cause there are some pretty crappy maps from vanilla that you could take out and put in some of the new ones

Re: Map packs

Man, I wish the custom maps worked like Unreal where it would just auto download the map from the server.

Re: Map packs

Here lies the problem. Not everyone has or will download the map packs. We would consider setting up server 2 for a night of map pack fun if there was enough interest for it.

Re: Map packs

There is nothing stopping anyone from populating any of our servers. If you have something special you have in mind that you want on server 2 or the private you have but to ask. If it can be done and there is enough interest then we can make it happen.

Re: Map packs

I dislike oman very much, except for the 16 player version, and I'd take oman 64 anyday over clean sweep.

Re: Map packs

and about the map packs, most of those maps just aren't that good. Unbalanced or just plain boring. Takes quite a b it of know-how in order to construct a balanced map. In fact, come to think of it, I think I've read something about a TG map, made by and for TG, but I can't remember where it is. Why dont we just create the "ultimate" map? I'm no mapper, but im sure one of us is, and with enough suggestions and the ultimate beta testing community (Us!), we cant go wrong.
