Re: Photoshop Question
Not sure if this is what you are asking for but:
open image ctrl-a (select all) ctrl-c (copy) goto your other image ctrl-v (paste) may have to resize the pasted image, use ctrl-t (transform current selection) for that. Other things you may find useful. Click and hold ctrl, then click a layer in your Layers window to select all pixels in that layer. use the "Lasso", "Polygonal Lasso" and "Magnetic Lasso" tools to select bits and pieces of your images, then you can copy your selections, or transform them etc.. Best way to learn is just to see these tools in action, so go try them out.

Re: Photoshop Question
Hrm...
There is a "Clone Stamp" tool (S) That allows you to clone sections of a picture to another section. To use it hold alt and then click the area to be cloned, then release alt and draw in another area to clone the area you previously selected. You can also define custom textures, which you can then use in combination with the paint bucket tool to fill objects with your pattern. To do this: 1. create a new image, create your pattern (or paste a pattern from another image). 2. Goto Edit-> Define Pattern, give your pattern a name then click ok. 3. Now you can click the "Paint Bucket Tool". Just below the menus you should see "Fill" and "Pattern" dropdown menus. In Fill select Pattern, then in Pattern select te texture you want to use. 4. Fill using the bucket, the area should be filled with the pattern you chose. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but hope it helps. PS - feel free to msg me on aim icq or msn (i'm on trillian) if you want me to explain a tool. Im no photoshop expert, I just fool around with photoshop form time to time, but ill be glad to offer any help I can.

Re: Photoshop Question
Another method is dragging the image's layer to the other image then create a layer mask. It'll keep the entire image there but you can edit the mask to hide parts you don't want seen.
http://www.photoshopgurus.info/inter..._effects.shtml That should explain layer masks clearly. When I found this out, it was the greatest thing in the world. |
