Looks more to me like a mod than anything else. It's coming Fall 2006 and we haven't heard of any news about it before?

It's a full fledged game but it doesn't look like they bothered building a new engine for it, looks marginally better than BF2 graphics-wise even if it's still early footage.

I was hoping for a MMOFPS but this definately isn't or they would have marketed it as one. Planetside was a great concept but since it was the first MMOFPS there were a lot of things wrong with it as well, same way MMORPGs started. I'd love to see a good futuristic MMOFPS, I know Huxley is coming but honestly it doesn't look that great to me.

this is the Battlefield Vietnam of Battlefield 2

all that was was a crappy mod for BF42, and the same will be said about this latest incarnation

I don't care what anyone says. BF2 is by far the slickest FPS I have ever played. The teamwork and chain of command facilitated by the built-in engine is second to none in my opinion. The graphics and models are superb and immersive. If this game is as good as BF2, then I will be getting it. The demo will tell.

I agree with the Bommando. BF2 is the only PC game that's ever held my interest for this long. I'm looking for to this, even if it's nothing more than a juiced up mod.

Too true. Altough the more I read about Quake Wars: Enemy Territory, the more I think that it will raise the bar in the future. Actually having tangible objectives for your team to accomplish that changes the battlefield is something that has definitely been missing.

I just hope they dont give the invisibility device to "laser-snipers" or whatever incarnation they take. I have enough problems spotting the swines as it is.

They certainly got an awful voice actor to work their first trailer. The production value of that voice acting (never mind the script) was pretty amature hour.

Hey, look on the bright side, I bet they can go over train tracks or a cheaply made wood fence.....

I agree. I'll be buying it. I stopped playing FEAR completely (I never beat it) when I got BF2. The only other FPS game to do this to me was D00M.
