Jetblast and cars

For all you guys who missed it or never new it excisted.

Top Gear is a UK show about cars, but not an normal show they do wild stuff sometimes, like this one:

Why you should not drive behind a Boeing 747 at take off thrust with a Ford Mondeo and a......well take a look for yourself:

Haha, that was great. I love how they use LoTR music from battle scenes, it's so out of place, but yet so funny.

Didn't mythbusters bust this myth a season or two ago? Then again they only had access to a little jet engine and not a 747 to test this on.

Did you guys also notice how they only used 2 engines out the 4 available? Imagine how far the cars would of flown with all 4 going full power.

They tried, but the insurance guys stepped in at the last moment and shut the tests with the jet down. They ended up having to use these tiny jets on trailers used on movie sets to make wind. IIRC, they were less than 1/2 the power of a single 747 engine each.
