Ferrari at 140mph in Paris... video...

This is a very cool video, and a very good driver... but can't help to wonder if making this video was worth the risk... one mistake and many people would of been dead... but still a cool video...

Re: Ferrari at 140mph in Paris... video...

Only two kinds of people own Ferraris.

A) Old guys who don't know anything about cars or driving and have nothing better to waste their money on.

B) Some of the most talented drivers in the world.

This guy's obviously not A), and he may be a bit on the crazy side but still.

Re: Ferrari at 140mph in Paris... video...

ugh I watched that video and all I could think of was the wear bars I noticed on my tires this morning. Adios $1200.

Well that's not the only thing I thought of. Cool video

Notice the lady with the dog as the guy drove up on the sidewalk to pass the trash truck blocking the street? I bet a lot of people got a serious pucker sensation as that car passed.

Getaway in Athens and Getaway in Stockholm are two other good movies featuring cars driving through city streets at felony velocities. Both are a couple years old but still fun to watch. Google Video has em..

Re: Ferrari at 140mph in Paris... video...

I just walked Getaway in Stockholm. Christ what an engine that 911 has!

The Athens video looked like the dude didn't have a lot of time in that M3. He kept letting the rear get away from him and kept the revs too low. Still fun!

Edit: I'm watching the M3 video again and he was doing just fine with the revs. That BMW tone was throwing me off.

Re: Ferrari at 140mph in Paris... video...

BMWs have that affect, that's why I want my mom to get an M3 Plus they're badass machines.

And I highly prefer pretty much everything about the Cayman to the 911, if it wasn't for the historical impact that the 911 has, I'm sure Porsche's headlining car would be the Cayman by now.

EDIT: After reading what Leejo said, I had to look more into the BMW driver. He's not too good at the drifting with that M3, he keeps exiting the drift way too early, probably because of the M3's weight.

Good god! That Ferrari in Paris video was outstanding! As good as the driver was, I can't believe that his survival had anything to do with it... dumb freakin luck that somebody didn't cross an intersection when he was running one of a hojillion different red lights.

Still... gave me speed chills.

I'm with Squid. Where's my GT Legends disk! Need me a fix!

The damn birds barely have enough time to get out of the way!!! My fav part was when he drives around the dude walking across the street in the white jacket and pants. Crazy.

Are you a film buff? I've enjoyed your Avatar

I'm not finding that film at IMDB. Where did you get your info?
