new, nicely done, map...
Hot SWAT mods has another nicely done map... it's SP co-op, MP co-op, and BS...
http://hot-swat-mods.com/index.php It;s called "Operation Daybreak", and it's been tested, (I always test a map before sharing), and it is a fantastic, fun, and bigger then you think map... plus nice posters on the wall for you young men, and us old perverts, lol...(not porn, just nice young models.) FYI... most new maps you simply download, extract then copy the .sm file to your system/map folder.... once in a while a map will also contain a special texture, like this map, simply copy the texture file into the system/texture folder... a read me explains it... don't worry, it's easy. lol None of these maps are on our server, just sharing for your own use. |

Re: new, nicely done, map...
Downloading now, thanks! Once these are fully tested can we add some maps to the server? That way if everyone has the map then we could play them but if everyone doesn't then we can play the stock maps.

Re: new, nicely done, map...
Since the TG SWAT4 server is a private server for supporting members only, I think a required map download shouldn't be a big deal. Just put the maps in the member download area.
Is there a way to make the map downloadable from the server on connect? |

Re: new, nicely done, map...
I know Cing said he had a problem with some of the maps crashing. I figure if we do add them then we could at least have the option of playing them if we all had the maps on our systems.

Re: new, nicely done, map...
Believe me, we may have a nice size team now, 8 to 10, because it's new, but some will get bored of SWAT 4 quick... within a month we'll be down to about 5 I wager... lol
We had problems in the past with add-on maps on our server, but I know and test every map, and know they can be hosted... so I wondered if it was a setting. Right now SWAT 4 Gold is new to TG, I say we stick with the default maps for now... meanwhile I will download and test each map, then get permission from the makers, (I know most of them), then will put them all in either one zip or one excutable... Then, with permission from Apophis and Mateo, upload the map pack, send Apophis the map pack for install onto the server... then we can all be on the same sheet of music... some of these maps made are INCREDIBLE, some being better then any of the defaults... and some are not. ![]() |

Re: new, nicely done, map...
I think with the solid group of 6-7 members we have now that are floating around between AA GR and swat any game we play is gonna be alot of fun. I will download this after work and maybe we could try this out saturday or something.
