CoD2 Scope mods

Has anyone been able to adjust the distance for long range sniping. We have attempted and seem to have accomlised very little. We have been able to shoot approximately 328 yards, but the yardage indications could be off because of our close kill mod.

If there is any help on this please ket me know.

our resident COD2 modder is Strag. Im not sure if he has messed with that but he sure has messed with alot of other sniper features, which really have made it so those who truely are snipers can play it.

Hi, i'm new to this site, but i am a member of Phoenix Sniper Team and we have a "inhouse" modder by the name of Joker, we have a longrage scope and to date the longest shot we have gotten was 4886 yards!

wow...that's 2.8 miles. I did a search on google for "world record sniper shot" and found an entry that said the current record is about 2,250 meters. This was attained by a Canadian working with the US forces in Afghanistan using a .50 cal sniper rifle.

I'm not sure how to make the scope zoom in much farther than setting a certain function to "0" under the weapon's stats in multiplayer. Possibly a negative number, I've never tried that.

I've made my own mod for my home network, just changed a few things like the zoom on the sniper rifles, the necessity to break eye relief with the scope to throw the bolt (between shots), improved the binoculars, increased time to pull out a weapon, and made the pistols a little more powerful at close ranges.

I would also like to know how to make a sniper rifle zoom in really far. Anyone with any knowledge past what I've said (I'm sure there's plenty), please feel free to PM me or something.
