Moving To Montana soon

I'm either going to be a
1) Dental floss tycoon
2) Sheep-herding cowboy
3) thrifty gas consumer

Re: Moving To Montana soon

What a joy it is to have moved from Wyoming to southern California. . .San Diego county should be a shade darker by my observations.

Oh well, I suppose the beaches make up for it eh?

Re: Moving To Montana soon

Good to see some Zappa fans around here. I've only heard that song a few times, but it definitely ranks very well on the wtf scale.

And Y'all don't have nearly as far to drive, a highly efficient public transport system (compared to ours, at least), and overall more fuel efficient cars.

Funny how high gas prices can lead to more efficient use of fuel.

Don't tell any of the people who commute 1.5 hours in to work in Paris or London that they don't have nearly as far to drive.

when i go to work on the other side of london, it takes me 90 minutes... an hour and a half... if i take the train or public transport, it costs not much less and takes me longer.... because i have to change 4 times... and then walk about a mile on top of that.

and more fuel efficient cars.... i have to pay about £20 on a good week on petrol alone... and if i am out of time in the C zone... i have to pay £8 per day to drive through london...

so lets say i have to go through C zone 3 times a week... thats £44 for the week on a minimum... convert that to dollars roughly.... $88 comuting... oh and i have a 1.6l petrol car.... its not a big or wasteful engine... and it still bangs out this kinda money.,.

luckily i rarely am caught in the C zone... because my work day starts at 7 am and thats when the c.zone starts.... so i am at work by then...

but i still spend about 40-50 dollars a wek commuting... its not cheap... and the transport system s great for tourist... not for rush hour... try it someday and regardless of how much a car costs bet you buy one.
