GRAW Tactical Gameplay Demo

I have uploaded some video footage I took during the single player mission to give new players an impression of the pace of the game. Note that the demo is intentionally slow-paced to include all aspects of tactical movement and assigning covering fire positions to team members. This will be useful for anyone who hasn't yet given the demo much time or has not even downloaded it yet.

Nice Bom. If anything, my pace was even slower when I played through the demo. But then again, I've never played any of the tactical sims before so that prolly had something to do with it.
On a side note, wish you could ditch the sniper rifle for one of the Mexicans' rifles once you're out of ammo since you still had about a half of the demo to move through when you ran out.

Yeah, this is the first time I've played a tactical shooter too. I think I probably went a bit too fast myself. You'll notice that in a couple of situations, I likely relied too much on my team mates to cover an angle where I should have double-checked the fire lane myself before crossing. BF2 was my first online FPS, so I am still learning all the time and GRAW is a very welcome change of pace for me.

I was disappointed at not being able to pick up weapons too. The sidearm I chose had plenty of ammo though and got me to the end with ample left over. Note that you can also equip extra ammo instead of the sidearm, which would probably get you all the way through. I whored most of the kills from my team mates early on too. If I'd held back a bit more and allowed them more time to make use of the fire lanes I set up, I would have had more ammo left over after that first objective.

You couldn't pickup guns in the original GR either. I guess they just carried that over to GRAW.

Yah I noticed that too. Problem with the sniper rifle is that if any of the mexicans have one, they're up on a roof you can't access and take thier ammo.
