Office 2000 file recovery.
Friend of mine screwed up big. here is what she has done.
She typed a document using MS Word 2000. Got it all done with all the proper formatting and headers, etc... She then wants to create a new document using the first as a template, see where this is going yet? So she sintends to erase all the information she does not need THEN "save as" a new file. Instead she erases all the information then clicks "save" Anything that can be done? I told her she is likely screwed. |

Re: Office 2000 file recovery.
If she hasn't closed Word, she should press Undo. Although, I don't know if the Undo buffer is large enough and she has probably closed Word by now. By luck, she may have version saving turned on. File/Versions and check if any versions have been saved. I don't think it saves versions by default though.
