Inishail Forest server?

So the 45 minute taste of Inishail Forest was far to brief for me last night... can we get this (exclusively) running on one of the other servers? Server 2 or the Scrim Server perhaps?! pretty please?

We only fought over one CP on the 16player version, but it was the most fun I've had in a few weeks.. the terrain is perfect for fighting... and approaching flags under the concealment of the heavily wooded forest actually works..

Plus it's sweet that the camoflauge actually works - I actually stumbled onto Bodofooko twice and he was an assault kit just lying on the forest floor!

Yes, yes, pretty, pretty please. It was a lot of fun. How about setting up the 3 map sizes in rotation ?

It is in the rotation twice on the private server as well as all the expansion maps from EF and AF.

How about I put up on sever 2 for the day and see how many people get it loaded up.

Unless its an 'event' you will never see enough players to get a good game going. Just schedule another MNM again for next Monday.

It will give people the chance to check out the map and get a good feel for it. If it takes off we may put it in the rotation or add it to the Tac Mod.

How about MNM for next Monday with killrogs map and the other maps that have been submitted in the map making contest, so that we can get to see them all.

Just wondering, If I install the map, can I check it out in single player mode?

The map is MP only. You can however create a local MP server and run around the map

There is no singleplayer support because it's actually pretty complicated to add and the BFEditor forums being down for the past few weeks (hacked) means I don't know how to do it. However as Blonov said you can go to Multiplayer-> Create Local, put the version you want (16, 32 or 64) in the maplist and hit Start Server and you'll be able to run around for however long you want.

And if you want to be able to cap flags solo, open up console while in-game (hit ~) and type sv.numPlayersNeededToStart 1

cool thanks bubba - figured those servers were sitting dormant anyway, so why not put this on there... the CP's are really well designed and even a 2vs2 game would be fun i'd imagine..

I agree with you WhiskeySix. That was probably the most fun I have also had in a while. The same thing happened to me. I didn't realize I was right on top of Bodofooko. He knifed me to say the least. I'd advise everyone to check this map out. Tacmod on this one would rule.
