Exclamation EF Scrim Teams and Information - 17 Jun 2006 1700 Eastern

Anyone not on this roster needs to check in with Drizzid or Perry on TeamSpeak before roll call! There will be room, we just need to know who wants to play so we can assign them to a team!

When: Saturday June 17th

What time: Roll call @ 5pm EDT, Scrim time 6pm EDT. Convert to your locale if necessary.

How long will it take: Figure on 3-4 hours

Where? The server IP and password will be put in to TeamSpeak channel descriptions. DO NOT ask on TeamSpeak, DO NOT ask on the forums. You must look in your team's TeamSpeak channel description.

Hey guys here is the proposed teams for the EF scrim. I have tried to split them up with the knowledge of each person. If you see any advantages/disadvantages please let me know. This list no way indicates squad assignments. Squad officers and Cos will be responsible to assign kit and squad roles.

COs this is now the time to start your preparations and planning, remember we will be using the EF maps and the map order and modifications will be as follows:
  • Map #1 Operation Smokescreen: Both jets will remain. Each team will be allowed to have just 1 chopper in the air. There are two choppers on the map but we can't easily remove just one, so this will be on the honor system.
  • Map #2 Taraba Quarry: The bomber will be removed. Each team will have 1 single person jet.
  • Map #3 Great Wall: APC's and Tanks will be removed.

If there is less than 40 total people that show up, then all air assets on Taraba and Smokescreen will be removed.

Any questions please PM me

Mantis you honestly dont stand a chance. I mean ill just be straight up with you

One thing i would suggest is to take out at least the bomber and maybe the fighter as well in Taraba. I mean its really ridiculous in that map.

I am in discussions with the Admins about some "Tweaks" to the maps to make them a more enjoyable experience. Once I have the tweaks that will be used in the scrim I will post them so COs will be aware of them and not prepare for an asset that is no longer available.

I signed up, but you missed me when you listed the signups by team. Is there still room for me?

Drizzid,

1st MIP has been following all scrim related announcements. When you contacted me, I notified Scrim Coordination officer Faultline and he made the announcement in our team forum.

Majority of 1st MIP personnel dont have the booster packs. Some of those who have the packs cannot make it due to real-life conflicts. And the remaining few preferred to stay out for this one.

Although Tactical Mod is our primary battleground, 1st MIP may deploy as a single squad or platoon (two squads) for the future TG scrims.

You all have fun and remember the importance of proper pre-battle preparation. Even a short (30 to 60 min) ATC meeting between COs and SLs makes a huge difference in overall team performance.
