playing on your server

I recently picked up BF2 and once i heard the TG server used the expansions i did some research. now being low on cash i can only afford one expansion. So my question is, which expansion is the most frequently used for maps on your fine server?

Well their both in regular rotation along with vanilla maps. In my opinion if you only have enough cash for one booster, I'd go with AF, because I feel like its the much stronger booster than EF.

Re: playing on your server

Both Armored Fury and Euro Force add 3 new maps, so statistically they are both just as common. Pick up whichever one you think looks like more fun. Armored Fury has A-10 Warthogs, new helicopters, and maps set in America, while Euro Force adds new guns, teams, and a map set on the Great Wall of China and stuff.

I'd go for Armored Fury. It's more recent and therefore more likely to be played. By that I mean that people may ask for the map to be changed to an AF map more than an EF map. Either way, I haven't played EF because I thought it looked lame, I bought Armored Fury however and I like it.

Re: playing on your server

I have a feeling that AF will be more popular on our server than EF, but I really have nothing to support that feeling other than playing on TG for 10 months now.

Statistically, Clean Sweep should be played as often as Karkand, but that's just not the case. We have a general feel for what the community likes and those maps get more playtime. AF has been out for less than a week now, and EF is pretty new to this community, so it's too early to judge which will be more popular. I think I like AF a little more than EF, but it's pretty close...

I would highly recommend getting both as soon as you can. They will both be in steady rotation for the forseeable future. If you MUST choose one for now, you might as well go for AF. It has the coolest new stuff.

I recommend both. They are both different and they are both good. EF has great armor type battles. AF has armor, but it's very different from EF and the vanilla maps.
