It's kind of odd I heard about this on Slashdot and would need to post it here, but I figured that some of the fun loving not-so-geeky persons here would want to know about this, too.

What it is is Michael J. Nelson (the head writer for Mystery Science Theatre 3000 for a long time and author of some very funny books) is selling MST3K style audio tracks for new(er) movies. You buy the track for $2, then mute the actual movie (that you need to own or rent) and play the track in the background. It's in beta and the price may increase once the system has been perfected. You can also vote for what movie he will riff next, Matrix is winning.
