Great Goggly Moggly, what action!!!! Corp platoon member.

After the ATC and studying the AOs for tommorows scrim i joined the server 1.

Got a lot of confidence going into the scrim!!

I joined up in the closing seconds of Oman. Corp win. clock ran out, must have been real close.

Mashtuur City. Joined Irr pj's squad and he did not come in for some time by the time the game started so we caped Mosque. after 5 min. of having the SL A.O.W.L. I started an Irr squad. Squad 6. We had a great crew. The Dude did his best with an enemy that came at us hard. The squad was succesful in most of its assignments. We did not get Hotel, could not get to the flag, enemy tank roling up really hurt us.
some players seemed dejected by the lose but i was having loads of fun.

13th 39 points 15/8 kill death ratio.

Next came Dragon Valley. I was SL 6 again. iamevil commanded and what a awsome job he did. What a awsome job the team did!! Good night!!
The squad was sort of a misfit bunch with Jaymind in to improve morale half way through. WE capped and defnded Wood Yard.
Best SLing defense i have ever done!!! Me getting 5 flag defends (best for the map) illistrates that big time. I got to tell u folks, the squad was beyond awsome, perhaps a whole new word should be created to describe the level of awsomness. Scrumtranssulessence. Oh wait, Will Feral all ready has coigned that word.
The arty strikes were super great also!!! the u.a.v. support was awsome also. The supresive fire we put down on enemy bases was sick. I kid u not, the enemy attacked the flag maybe 6 times with full squads!!. Sometimes the flag was white, once it went PLA but the Corp was always there to get it back!! Occosionly, the random vehicle breached the perimeter. Hey man, if u want to die that quickly just click the suicide button already.

On a bad note, i used language that was bad form over the text message. After the third enemy assault ended. I text messaged: That is our flag (insert word for female dog) !
not a good thing to do. I apoligiaze for that.

10th place. 19/6 kill deaths. 54 points. Best Assault kit 53 points (first time ever!)

Awsome stuff Teammates and TG.

I B IamEvil (my pub name), thanks for the congrats. Your squad did one hell of a job holding the woodyard the whole round. I thought for sure you were going to lose it several times

Re: Friday 7-21-06

I went on a killing spree tonight. Havent felt that "on" in some time. In mashtuur we lost, but i somehow was able to get about 80 kills with 20 deaths. In dragon i went engineer, and man ive developed a love for the shotgun. Nothing like whipping around and headshotting a guy.

Karkand i led a squad, and the final battle that lasted the last ~80 tickets was awesome. Our squad widdled down to just me, bane, sumluv, and zarfax. Another squad, im guessing a full one, moved up north. The SL stayed alive very long and kept sending his squad out. I was manning up the tank trying to keep em at bay along with my SMs. It seemed like they were all AT at times, and they made effort after effort to steal the tank after destroying it, but not before they got through my trusty shotgun

Re: Friday 7-21-06

I was thoroughly disappointed tonight. I was on through the end of Mashtuur when I called it a night. I would sit, watch and issues warnings for things that don't belong on our server. I also watched as squads just went on on the attack. There appeared to be very little coordination between squads.... and for the most part, the orders I received were "attack here" and "defend here".

There were people running around firing AT rockets at other infantry.... people driving buggies around just to run over other people.... players trying to just blitz through the enemy with vehicles.... players trying to knife when it wasn't called for and would end up dying because of it... etc.

Re: Friday 7-21-06

My connection went all to hell on Mashtuur but I was able to get back on halfway through Karkand when we only had train and gatehouse. That's weird to see some had a blast and some didn't.

Mashtuur definitely was disappointing. However, on the flip side I think Oman was an excellent round! The play was there and it came down to time, I think the USMC won by about 8 tickets (38-30 maybe?). I removed the attackhelo's, jets, bombers, and arty. That made it seem to feel very armor heavy, I had 3 AT's in my squad to deal with it. I also kept vanilla only in the rotation. We peaked at about 50 players on Oman, then Mashtuur was next. We lost about 10 players and hovered at 40 all through Mashtuur, then about 35 for Dragon Valley and Karkand.

Anyone else feel like Oman was a lot of fun?

Yep, armor heavy indeed. It think it ended 34-28. I was in Perry's squad and we spent a fair amount of time on the beach flags. Perry did a fine job of delivering personalized packages to most of the armor that came our way

I was already pretty frustrated when Oman came up. That just added to the frustration. I ended up SL in that round. I couldn't get my squad orgranized because we were running around in circles. Every round feels like it's attack, attack, attack and we're chasing this phantom mole.

And this still applied on oman...

Re: Friday 7-21-06

Oman was tons of fun . I discovered the inner AT within myself while having a great time, but the AT infantry rockets got out of hand.

Re: Friday 7-21-06

Oman was no good at all. Mec had a CO who got all pissy because we couldn't follow his schizophrenic orders. He cursed at me on more than one occasion for not getting my squad where he wanted me to be. That's because he gave me 4 or 5 orders within the span of 1 or 2 minutes. Orders that would go like this: attack hotel; 15 seconds later, as we move towards hotel, attack river fort; 10 seconds later, attack rock fort; 10 seconds later, attack hotel; 10 seconds later attack river fort. This didn't just happen once. So, of course, we ended up moving about in a circle near the railroad, not really doing anything. These schizophrenic orders came only after I had a full squad. When I started the round, I had a 2 man squad. We were ordered to assault heavily defended beach flags. Of course, that didn't work out well with just 2 people. He started getting pissy right from the beginning. Sad to say that this CO had TG tags too. He just didn't seem to realize that it takes time to get somewhere and do something. People get held up in firefights and what not. That was one of the worst rounds I've ever played.

Ah that was my squad you were going against. I think we were a 5 man squad at that point. So you were 4 vs 4, since I basically stayed back. It looked pretty fun though. We were in a bind against the tank, since we'd have to go AT to get the tank down but that meant being less effective against infantry.
