Dalian Plant 8/11 10pm PDT

I had a good time tonight and must give some mad props to my squad tonight on Dalian Plant. Props to Cantpickaname, Saber, Troublesome4u, CarRamrod, Lord Zarfax for a little bit I think and if I missed someone please speak up.

You guys were great tonight, we started the game off by heading for Main Entrance and once that was secured we headed for Maintenance Building. By the time we had taken MB the USMC was already on bleed so I decided to just keep South Docks busy after a few attempts at trying to take it but the pesky guys up on the crane made it tough (Sordavie, SGT Homan and others). After a while the USMC pushed pretty hard and we lost MB. Well we decided to push back and Troublesome4u was simply awesome at neutralizing the enemy and getting flags turned at least neutral. That flag changed hands a few times due to me spreading the guys out a bit too much bet we always rebounded nicely. Saber was spot on with his intel and communication and carRamrod was just the all around jack of all trades. You guys made up for a so so SL and it was a pleasure leading you if that's what you want to call it He He

Dalian was a lot of fun for me. I was leading Foxtrot squad with Gixxer_USMC, tau_neutrino, Shakey, Visser, and TravelinWilbury for most of the map, then Marcozy replacing Visser after he had to jet.

I asked the guys to delay their spawn at the beginning of the round while I tried to get on a Blackhawk...well I screwed up and spawned in the hold with the boats , and when I made it topside the only helo left was the Cobra. Nobody else was there so I grabbed it and made a fast approach to Reactor Towers.

We defended there for quite awhile and saw plenty of action...lot's of attacks from the air. There was no CO so I was trying to guage what the other SLs were doing and respond by trying to support them at North Docks etc.

About half way into the round I switched tacks and took the squad on a fastcap offense. We rushed counterclockwise picking up Warehouse, Main Entrance, and then Maintenance Buildings. Once at MB I put us on defense again expecting China would want it back...sure enough lot's of fighting ensued over Maintenance Buildings.

A great group of guys to work with...I had loads of fun (the 18yr old Caol Ila helped as well ). Tau and Shakey were on fire, scoring first and second place with 144 and 110 points respectively.

I ended up as SL for 1 round of Mashtuur last night. Luckily I had a really good squad made up of CantPickNameIWant, Penguineer, UBDead1, Emale, and Samurai1954. We started by defending both power plant and Hotel. I had to split my squad into 2 fire teams. Emale took bravo team consisting of UBDead1 and Penguineer to Power plant and I had Samurai1954 and CantPick at Hotel. We held off several attacks at Hotel until I had to take Alpha north to Gas Station and they capped it behind us. We all respawned at Power plant and I took the entire squad to Hotel and we never could retake it. The round ended with the time running out and us behind by like 30 tickets. It was very close and very stressful for me as SL. Luckily I had EMale to handle the action down south otherwise I would have gone nuts. Thanks to everyone in my squad who stuck it out!

I was SL for most of the night, so all the rounds blended together. The one i can remember is Mashtuur. That was because we had some great COing from Kilrogg. The points I remember was his intel while my squad was holding hotel. He let us know in advance of movement that allowed us to drop back from our forward defense to meet and I am proud to say ( thanks to my unremembered SM's ) take out all atttempts on hotel. The OPFOR had both the Mosque and the powerplant, but with the advance intel we were able to bounce back and forth to meet all attacks. I was having terrible connection problems most of the night. So to anyone who was on my squads. Sorry I got dissconected from the server allot. Does anyone know if I got best squad on Sharaqui?

I do not think we did. i am sure i would have remembered. That may have been the map were Dark Viper went ape blank and was in the majority of the score lists. Teamwork/Combat/Flag cap/Flag cap assist/ Flag defense/ best almost everykit. best armor. it was just sick. It was truly unique to see such excellence.

You weren't disconnecting during Dalian were you Troublesome4u? If you were that makes what you did on that map even more impressive! You were outstanding along with all the other guys that night that was brave enough to be in a squad that I was leading. You played a great round and I was surprised we didn't get top squad to be honest with you.

THanks. No it was earlier in the night Drizzid. The firt map with the TV staion and construction site is where I was having problems then Karkand.
