After much anticipation the Battlefield 2142™ Tuning Beta is officially ready for release!

Today we will begin granting access to players to experience our latest title hands on in full ranked play! With our partner IGN we will begin distributing the Beta and granting access to the forums for players to provide feedback and report bugs. The scope of this beta is highly focused on seeking out player feedback on soldier kits, vehicles, and our new Titan game mode.

Because of this tight focus on game play we have asked that our server providers only host Titan game mode servers. Rest assured that this is not a sign that we are moving away from our excellent standard of conquest game play. We want to ensure that our new Titan Mode has the same fluid action, intense combat and complete fun that our conquest game play has always had.

As the weeks progress we will increase the number of players in the Beta to allow for additional server stress testing. We will also be posting poll and discussion questions into the forums to help initiate player feedback.

We will also be working closely with clan groups to get feedback on game tuning and tactics from the competitive player’s point of view. Please make sure to visit the forums and speak with us about your thoughts on Battlefield 2142. We are eager to play along side everyone so be sure to keep your eyes open for those [DICE] and [EA] soldiers.

Titan only servers - great
full ranked play - great (I never thought I would be excited by ranked servers but I really want unlocks)

and in about a weeks time I'm going to be all over that titan

Looks like things are really starting to get rolling with this game. It better not come out while im in San Fransisco! Glad to see forum activity picking up with the immenent beta release. There are a couple sites that are giving keys away. Planet battlefield and bf2142.com are a couple. Still waiting on deatails though. Man this is exciting!

I'm trying to keep up to! I've got like 6 tabs open in firefox, and hitting the refresh button. I wish TG could of gotton some keys.

I tried. I couldn't get any for this first round, but I should be getting some for the next round of testing. (with any luck!)

hehe, nice try with the FP sign-ups, but I will wait until the beta is a bit more "open". I do look forward to providing them with feedback however, although I do fear we may get drowned out a little by the OMGWTFBBQPWNZ0RZ.

Then again, the larger BF2 community was up in arms about squad leader switching and DICE stuck to their guns, so we might see a team-oriented game yet

Apo, do I need to have my email client ready (yahoo) or do I use the guys email from within the website to send the email to him? I just wanted to be ready to hit the submit button as fast as possible.

Well they just gave away 100 keys in their IRC channel, I didn't even get one, and there was only about 350 people in there, so the chances were pretty high.

i wouldve been in there but i dont have IRC. If all esle fails, hopefully fileplanet gives me one. Im talking to Kilrogg right now and hes loading a map as we speak! Lucky bast!
