Beta Impressions

For those lucky enough to have gotten to play the beta - give us the lowdown!

Impressions on gameplay, weapons, battle walker, aircraft, graphics, titan mode, plus all the other stuff I'm missing.

I don't think they are allowed under the NDA, I'm not sure what limitations are put on them though.

It's okay.. It's not spectacular. There are some neat concepts in the game but it is VERY unlock dependant. I've only had about 45 minutes of playtime so far, but I've managed two medals and an unlock.

I like it so far, I think there are some balancing issues right now that need to be addressed. Although I've been getting tons of lag, considering "no US" servers. So I'm seeing pings well over 100. I've also got 2 unlocks so far, no medal yet.

Have ya'll been playing together as a squad? I know BF2 would not be as fun if I had to play with..well...people who don't know how to play like we do at TG.

I was playing with kilrogg, snail, and lunis last night. Haven't seen Apo yet.

I didn't have any time to play last night, but I should tonight! We'll have to meet up on TeamSpeak and go from there.

Today will be the 3rd day of NO bf2. I will be on TS later tonight to. All I can say right now, the buddy list system is pretty darn good and really useful.

what's that - basically in-game xfire? shows what servers your buddies are on? any other capabilites?

Yes, it shows the server, allows you to instant join. Send/Recieve messages. Pretty nifty, pretty basic. Most of all it works.

That 'in-game Xfire' thing vaguely reminds me of Joint Operations....
