Alll tgers at the same side
Almost all TGers where on the same side today (6/7 pm est) and I think it wasnt accidently. The other side really got hammered a few times because of that, it's just really unfair. Futhermore it's bad for our reputation and it's bad for the future of the server (at least for these times).
I think we should have a discussion on wheter to allow these things to happen as I can also see some benefits to it, ie better gameplay because you only got TGers in your squad. Imo EVERYONE that wears a TG tag should squadlead and invite pubbies till there full. I tried it and I got a reasonably organized squad almost everytime. Once there are ten TGers on, there should be ten squads (sixty players) in good hands. Once we get twelve TGers we can have commanders too, and have a organised game. I also think educating the new players (or at least showing them how we play) should remain a priority. Right now were only scaring them away. How would you like to get hammered by superiorly organized squad/teams over and over? It's not fair, it's not acceptable. |

It's been expressed several times that during the initial stages of the PoE2 server that we should try to avoid full TG squads. Furthermore, it's in the best interest of the server to spread the regulars across both teams.
On a side note, many regulars don't wear the TG tags, so at times it may look lopsided.... but if you have Beatnik on your team, you're handicapped anyway.

I really doubt anyone tried to stack teams on purpose. Statistically speaking, it's bound to happen randomly from time to time.

Hmm yes I seen many full TG only squads, aswell as a few TG squads with only 3-4 people in them, but locked... was a bit disappointed to see this

So fix the issue dont come on the forums and complain. Seems when ever these topics come up no one attempts to fix it. Jump on TS and say something.

Some people can't use teamspeak and the game at the same time. powersmoker, u remind me of meyself in my younger days, telling it like it is. P.S. good point, Drizzid, locking squads for logistics is needed.

What IS intentional is forming into 6 man squads of only TGers and leaving every other squad completely dysfunctional. Ive tried to get people to spread out over text, but people are just entirely too scared of pubs. Sure, some of em dont have mics, but most of em follow orders.

Should also mention I still have no flippin' clue how arty works in PoE2 :P Wouldn't mind joining one of those arty only squads sometime and learning ! *cowers away* don't hurt me ![]()

In my experience, the squad has to be 66% TGers to be functional and effective. Anything less and you spend too much time trying to impose order while you are getting whaled on. Add to that the fact that we only have so many proficient squad leaders to go around at TG. There is really no way to get proper leadership all the time unless there is a significant number of veterans playing. So yes, there will certainly be times where things are very unorganized on the server. That's just life.

I have had a squad listen to me i guess 80% of the time now with no TGers on it. A lot of those pubbies listen very well about half of them actually had mics.
I must say I am kind of surprised at this cause it's already a lot better then on a random pub surver. When you have one guy following the rest will follow also, so when your squad really doesnt get organised all you need to do is invite one TGer over and your set. When you make a squad, be sure to invite those unorganised squads over, it works really well. If you see a lot of 1 and 2 squads you can always go commander and get them to merge. I did that once now and it worked really well. It took me five minutes but after that we had 3 or 4 full squads. |
