Carpathian Mountains 9/15/06 after scrim

Had some good games tonight but the best round for me personally was Carpathian Mountains. When the map first started I was in with Mantis but we were only two and noticed the "Lucky" squad and they only had 2 members so myself and Mantis joined Lucky Shot and Jaymind. Later Luuser and someone else that I can't remember at this time, sorry, joined. We started out going after West Cabin but I think squad 5 had that handled so we moved to Lumber Mill and we all know how Lumber Mill gets. As we moved in the entire squad moved to the south east as I went to the west. Mantis, Lucky Shot, Jaymind and Luuser were able to pull the defensive squad out far enough that I was able to jump on the flag and get it neutral so the defense couldn't respawn. With some assistance from another squad we were finally successful and took the CP. We weren't really able to set much up as Lucky Shot CTD and got team switched when the 33rd came rolling in on foot and all kinds of armor was supporting them. Once I realized I was now the new SL we defended their as long as we could but we finally lost it to Bleak and the 33rd I think.

Lucky then got team switched and rejoined so we decided to defend the East Farm since we had bleed and no one was defending it. As we moved to East Farm North cabin was smokin hot with it going neutral then to the German side then neutral again and it was back and forth so I sent all the armor we had which was Mantis, Jaymind and someone else to assist and get North Cabin under control.

As they were there we had a sneaky group come in and try and take the flag but fortunately my C4 took care of that but the ever sneaky Bleakaffinity came knocking on our door step and we were a step slow and they took that from us. So we moved to try and retake it but North Cabin was hot again so we fell back and held that the rest of the game for a solid come back for the Germans.

We got best squad that game and I just wanted to say thanks to all the guys. The communication was outstanding and the quality of players I had made it a the most enjoyable experience I have had as a SL for a long time. A hearty salute to each and every one of you guys it was a pleasure working with you.

Thanks for taking over the reigns of Lucky Squad Drizzid! We had some great fights at the northern cabin. The attack points are so narrow that we were able to pick off the enemy at a distance before they made it close.

I was way off in the distance when that East Farm flag went white, but was able to pick off a couple guys in the garage and then blew up about 3 more when they whited out the flag. I am finally getting some accuracy at range with that spec ops gun.

Good games to everyone in the squad and especially to Drizzid for so capably running my namesake squad.
