Good Game on Dnister River tonight

Made it a point on the German side to put as much face time as possible at the Radar Station near the Ukraine UCB. Had some very intense fights around that flag. Congrats to Lekdevil, Isopharius, Joebar, TheFatKidDeath, and Zhao_qc who put in a tremendous effort to capture and hold that flag. At the times we were driven off, we had to make our way back over to that flag which was always dangerous as we took the Rib boats over. Who was the squad that defended that flag, was that Beatnik? It was a loss for the German's, but still well played, especially pleased with how our squad responded to adversity.

So...that was your brave squad making that dangerous river crossing! Ballsy, but would you expect anything less from Lucky Shot?

I wasn't defending that CP, but I saw (spotted) you guys coming across the river a couple times. I was in a sniper squad with Santa...I was using an SVD and he was using a 144mm Howitzer.

Musta sucked to be anyone on that little island in the middle of the river...

Cheers.

That's why we didn't stay. It was well sighted into the middle of the island, but not at the boat house!

Hell, yes, that were some exciting raids we performed there. Kudos to Lucky for staying alive for so long and directing the attacks (I know I would have died many times over had I been SL). We never quite managed to get a proper mine field up at that Radar site, or we might have been able to repel the endless counterattacks more effectively. Still, the tug-of-war over that flag was great.

Rubber boat raids for the win!

lol, I was a medic in a non-TG squad at the island. I hope they don't think we are stat padding.

Re: Good Game on Dnister River tonight

That was my squad indeed. We had some great skirmishes with you guys at that CP the last 15 minutes or so of the game. After the flag fell once while we were off the flag holding what we thought was the line, we brought all the armor back and spent a good deal of time trying to defend against you guys. That CP has a lot of interesting features between the hills surrounding it, the armor that spawns there, and being able to cap it from inside the building. Also it seemed like one assault would come from the west, then after we thought we wiped you out, another assault would quickly follow from the north. We were originally back there because (I assume) we were the only TG-led squad that would follow orders and defend. It turned out being one of the best ongoing contests for a CP I've yet seen in POE.

Re: Good Game on Dnister River tonight

Frankly, I haven't had to fight so hard to get a flag. That took a lot more time and effort than I am used to with any POE assault. I didn't recognize any of the names beyond Zarfax and didn't realize it was you until I heard you on Teamspeak. But I was rotating the spawn point from the north to the west to the south to make sure that we gave our guys a couple different looks at that same objective. Great fights and props again to that battle!
