A Custom |TG| skin I made for the GTL Cooper S

It is suprisingly easy to make. TG themed custom skin for the Cooper S, complete with carbon fibre parts! LOL!

Instruction:
Download the above two files and put those in your C:\GTL\GameData\Teams\TC-65\Mini Cooper S\593-594 folder (don't worry it won't delete/replace anything). Launch game and select Mini #593.

Nice stuff Rocket. Beat me to it. I've got TG skins on my to-do list, but it looks like you got a solid start on it. Would love to see more.

How did you make these? When I used to play GP2 there was a tool called GP2 Paint, which basically took the skin file as a single sheet and you could just alter colours on it - very easy but very cool for leagues.

Does this work for multiplayer (ie if you had customised your car but I had not would I see your customisation?)

Personally I use Paint Shop Pro so the nvidia DDS plug-in doesn't work for me, so I downloaded this program to convert PSD to DDS:

You will also need the templates for the cars and you can download here(you need to registed for the forum):

....and a program that can read/write PSD files like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

I think, In order for this to work on multiplayer. We will all need to have the custom skin assign to the same car. This skin I made was really just a test to see if it actually works.

Yes, the skin would need to be loaded onto every client computer. I'm not sure what other players would/wouldn't see if they haven't DL'd the skin(s).

They will see the default skin config for that particular car.
