Oct 6 CO Screen Video Dnipro Sunrise

Dinopro Sunrise Oct 6 (approx 12pm)

Two video versions posted of the Ukraine CO's command screen, one very high speed to see the swarming effect of coordinated attacks against fallen flags.

No novel strategies used by the CO (E-Male).

Overall plan was to keep and hold three flags. Will call this the 'Three Flag Hold' strategy, similar to the 'Defensive Triangle Strategy' but without a defined meta-flag area that is protected by a reserve squad.

No discipline problems, although squad one's SL had trouble maintaining order with some of his players (all non-TG).

Admins booted Dr.Pot for killing the CO in a UCB (thank you).

Great work done by SLs Lucky Shot, Hartless, Reader1234, Barracuda_Magoo, and Mantis in air support squad. Also saw Kingfriday, NYGurka and Sakura working hard to follow orders as SLs.

Tactical Note:

I am finding that a key to success is a minimum of THREE TG SLs with 5 to 6 in each squad. These are used to defend three flags, while other smaller squads are used to reinforce hot spots. A good TG squad at a back (rear) flag will also play double duty on occassion by deploying a fireteam forward (under orders) to reinforce another squad or participate in an attack.

Map was won 91-37.

Thanks again for great SLing.

Re: Oct 6 CO Screen Video Dnipro Sunrise

Surprised there wasn't another response to this prior to now. I led squad 4 through some very intenste fighting at the AA nest. It's a very difficult flag that is so inviting to be blasted, artied, and lit up with the Mobile AA. I have never defended that flag and ended the round with at +1 KDR. But the sort of resources the enemy uses at this flag displays how much that flag annoys them.

Props to Shakey, TD Bomber, Rocketpunch, SamHoy and CantpicknameIwant for making our squad a success. We started out moving to the powerstation, feinting toward the Town before taking the AA Nest. We held there before bein relieved and taking over the docks. After the AA nest was lost, we were retasked with taking the flag back before running out of time. Good round, and excellent job in the CO chair.
